(Nineys POV)
We all heard about the haunted asylum.
It was the talk of the town when it was broadcasted on the news. My friends and i were in my home watching TV when it came on.
"Breaking News! The institution down something, something lane has been seemingly abandoned. Experts show that something toxic must've filled the air, forcing an evacuation of all patients and doctors"
At first, I tuned it out, more focused on my celular device and what was on it. I felt a hand grip my shoulder as it started to shake me whole body.
"W-wha?"
It was Toni, trying to get my attention
"Niney! Did you hear that? The asylum is abandoned. "
I look at her with dull eyes.
"Yeah, I heard. Why?"
Toni and Liya exchanged glances and then looked back at me, their smiles growing wide. I raise an eyebrow, indicating my confusion. Just what were they planning?
Liya spoke up first
"We were thinking that maybe we should go check it out! Yknow.. for funsies!"
My heart dropped. What were they thinking?
"W-why..?"
You could hear the dread in my voice. Sweat starting to drip down my face just thinking about getting near that place.
Toni chimed in on the conversation
"Cmon Niney, it'll be fun! Besides, there won't be anybody in there, so there serially isn't anything to worry about!"
I gulped, weighing down my options.
Either i..
1) Go down to this seemingly abandoned Mental asylum, not knowing what's lurking
Or...
2) I stay in the safety of my own home, not worrying about the Mental asylum
I think it was pretty obvious which one I would choose.

They both pleaded me to go through with it, wearing me out before finally giving in.
But I had this gut feeling..
I'm sure it's nothing.
