(Niney's POV)
I catch up with my friends just in time. We walk for a few mere seconds before we stop in our tracks.
"Is that a vent?" Liya questions, wondering what it's doing in the middle of the hallway.
amogus..
Toni gulps before responding.
"S-should we go in..?"
We all look at each other before I decide to speak up.
"Well.. not like we have a choice" I day ad I get closer to it.
Huh.. it's not bolted in.
I take off the cover before standing out of the way to see how much crawl space it has.
"Holy moly!" Toni exclaimed.
"That's really cramped!"
"Yeah," Liya agreed.
I gulp, I wonder where this will take us..
"Well, uh, ladies first," I say, shoving both of my friends into the vent shaft before quickly joining them as well.
They yelp but for a moment before landing on their knees, both of them sending me glares.

(Liya's POV)
I was slightly annoyed at being shoved into a vent, but it quickly went to the back of my mind when I saw what was in front of me.
"It's like a maze in here!" I yell out.
"Gulp!" Exclaimed Toni, hearing her sharp breaths directly behind me.
Well, we better get going.
The dim flashlight in my hand flickered as I squeezed into the narrow duct, the metal walls pressing uncomfortably against my sides. Each breath I took seemed to amplify the pounding of my heart.
The vent was surprisingly long, and I felt my way forward, dragging myself inch by inch. I tried to focus on the end goal, yet my hands were beginning to ache, and my knees felt like they were going to give out.
"Guys, I don't know how much longer I can do this," I say, exhausted
"Cmon Liya, I know we're almost there!" Niney tried to reassure me but if I'm being honest, I don't know how much longer I can endure this.
Just a little more..
Finally, I saw a faint light ahead and quickened my pace. With a final, determined push, I reached the vent cover and pushed it into the room in front of me.
We all fall onto the floor of the next room.
"Ow.."I mumble to myself.
Both Toni and Niney also show signs of minimal pain after dropping from the vent above us.
"Are yall okay?" I asked, worried.
"Yeah, we're fine.. are you okay?" Toni questions me,
"Yeah, don't worry, just not used to dropping from high places," I responded.
"I don't think any of us are.." Niney chuckles. She stands up first and helps both me and Toni up from the ground.
She looks around the room before spotting a desk that looks like it could fall apart at any moment.
"Guys look, a note!" She grabs the fragile paper and hands it over to me to read.
I look over the continents on the paper before reading it out.
"If you find this, get out. Dr Sullivan is a monster. He is using us for his twisted experiments. Run while you can."

Toni's face is literally that one yellow emoji sticker named distraught.
"Y-yall think this Dr Sullivan guy is behind this..?" She asks, her breath a little shaky.
"I think it's the best lead we got.."
