20 years later

Phyllis' POV

"How did you do it, dad?" Orion asks Thomas.

"I couldn't. My heart broke and you kids pieced it back together again. It still aches though, and it always will." Thomas says, "One day, Gabriel will piece your back together so it works, but it will still hurt. Scars fade, they do not heal."

Orion looks at his baby son, Gabriel. He is just a little baby. He is so sweet.

"That's your grandkid," I tell Abigale. She smiles.

Orion is holding his dead husbands hand. Peter, his name was. He died of brain cancer. "So young, so smart, such a waste of a good heart," Abigale says.

As Orion was saying his last goodbyes and his tears were rolling down his cheeks, I could see the spirit leave Peters body. He stood next to Orion, "I love you, O. Please move on without me." After he says that, he reaches out and kisses Orion firmly on the lips. Orion couldn't physically feel it, but you could tell that he did emotionally. Their live was so strong, it crossed between the dead to the living. That kiss, stopped Orion from crying as he said, "Goodbye, Peter. I will see you soon." When Orion tries to let go of his hand, he felt a piece of paper in peters hand. He took it out and slowly un scrunched it. It was a drawing that Orion drew for Peter on their first date. Orion inherited Thomas' drawing skills.

Orion starts crying again. I don't blame him. If what they had wasn't love, than nothing was.

Thomas leaves the room. "I'll let you say your final goodbye," he says to Orion.

Thomas closes the door behind him and says, "Phyllis? Abigale? I know you are there. Please listen to me. Please take care of peter. He meant a lot to Orion. Abigale, I hope you are proud of our children. They are all starting families of their own. They all went to college and they all have careers. I tell them all the time about how amazing you wer- are

"And Phyllis, I still love you. I tell my children all the time about how much I love you and have never stopped loving you. I have hated living without you. It has been torture. I was away from you for six years, that was torture, then I found you before you were unfairly taken away from me. From us. Both of you.
"Our children have lives and families of their own. They do not need me anymore. But I need them. I am staying strong. I still love you, both."

As he finishes talking, Tiffany walks up behind him. "How is he dad?"

"Peter died," he informs her, "Orion isn't taking it well."

Behind Tiffany, Frankie, Maxie and Tobias walk. Orion walks out of the room with Gabriel in his arms. They all walk over and wrap their arms around Orion. No words were spoken, but a million thoughts were thought. All you could hear was tears. Many, many tears for the dead boy.

Don't pity the dead. They are dead. Pity the living who have to live.

A/N: this is the end of the story! i am thinking of writing a story in either Gabriel's or Orions POV. Please comment and let me know what you thought of the story and if i should write a sequal! Thanks xx
