Eight years had passed since Acchillaen and Ingressuss had welcomed their twin daughters, Sall and Molly, into the world. Their lives had been filled with the joys and challenges of parenthood, and their bond had only grown stronger. The twins were now vibrant eight-year-olds, full of energy and curiosity, and their home was a lively place of love and laughter.
As the due date for their new baby approached, the family buzzed with anticipation. Acchillaen’s pregnancy had been smooth, and the twins were excited to meet their new sibling. Ingressuss had been attentive and supportive, ensuring that Acchillaen had everything he needed.
One crisp autumn morning, as the first light of dawn filtered through the curtains, Acchillaen felt the familiar pangs of labour. He gently shook Ingressuss awake, his voice a mix of excitement and urgency. “Ingressuss, it’s time.”
Ingressuss sprang into action, his heart pounding with a mix of nerves and excitement. “Alright, let’s get you to the hospital.”
They had prepared for this moment meticulously. Ingressuss helped Acchillaen into the car, and they headed to the hospital, the twins in tow, their faces alight with anticipation. Sall and Molly held hands in the backseat, whispering excitedly about their new sibling.
At the hospital, Acchillaen was quickly admitted, and Ingressuss stayed by his side, offering comfort and encouragement. The twins were taken to a waiting room, where they could play and wait for the big moment.
Hours passed, and the labour progressed steadily. Ingressuss held Acchillaen’s hand, his voice soothing and calm. “You’re doing amazing, Acchillaen. It's just a little longer.”
Finally, the time came. With a final, determined push, Acchillaen brought their new baby into the world. The room filled with the sound of a newborn’s cry, a beautiful, heartwarming sound. Tears of joy streamed down Acchillaen’s face as the nurse placed their daughter in his arms.
“She’s perfect,” Acchillaen whispered, looking down at the tiny, wriggling form in his arms. “Welcome to the world, little one.”
Ingressuss leaned in, his eyes misty with tears. “You did it, love. She’s beautiful.”
After a few moments, the nurse invited Sall and Molly into the room. The twins entered quietly, their eyes wide with awe and wonder as they saw their new sister for the first time.
“Girls, meet your new sister,” Acchillaen said, his voice filled with emotion.
Sall and Molly approached the bed cautiously, their faces lighting up as they peered at the baby. “She’s so tiny,” Sall whispered, reaching out a hand to gently touch the baby’s soft cheek.
“What’s her name?” Molly asked, her eyes shining with curiosity.
Acchillaen and Ingressuss exchanged a loving glance. “We’d like you to help us choose,” Ingressuss said. “What do you think?”
The twins looked at each other, their minds working together. After a moment, Sall said, “How about Lily? It’s pretty.”
Acchillaen smiled, tears of happiness streaming down his face. “Lily it is. Welcome to the family, Lily.”
The next few days were a whirlwind of joy and adjustment as they settled back home with baby Lily. The twins were doting sisters, eager to help with their new sibling and fascinated by every little movement and sound she made. Ingressuss continued to shower Acchillaen with love and support, ensuring he had time to rest and recover.
One evening, as they sat together in their cosy living room, the fire crackling softly in the background, Acchillaen looked around at his family, his heart full to bursting. Lily slept peacefully in his arms, while Sall and Molly played nearby, their laughter filling the room.
“We’ve built something beautiful here,” Acchillaen said softly, looking at Ingressuss. “Despite everything, we’ve created a home filled with love and happiness.”
Ingressuss nodded, his eyes reflecting the depth of his love and pride. “We have, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Our journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s brought us to this moment, and I’m grateful for every step.”
As they sat together, surrounded by the warmth and love of their family, Acchillaen and Ingressuss knew that their future was bright. They had faced many challenges, but their love and resilience had carried them through. And with their three beautiful daughters by their side, they were ready to embrace whatever came next, knowing that their love was strong enough to overcome any obstacle.
(Haven't written this book for a while and forgot what I was doing an I've been posting drafts and stuff so mind me and iv probably gotten worse at writing cus that was when I was good at it ,lol,)
Acchillaen rested his head on his shoulders as inggrusse treald his hand down and up his lap. They looked at each other caringly, but then the door creaked open, and Sall and Molly pecked in.
The two singers pulled away and nodded for the twins to enter, smiling to them softly, they look at each other, nodding, and running in with they arms wide open,Acchillaen crouched down bring Sall in.
While Ingressuss brought Molly into his arms, they talked for a while, and for that, while it seemed peaceful,it was just them, and that was all that mattered, but Ingressuss knew he had to choose.
His family or his clan,he knew Acchillaen and the kids could live normally eventually, but they would have to live with the guilt that would stay for a life time, and it'll be all his fault.he squeezed his eyes closed as he brought molly in.
He then opened his eye and smiled softly as the warm light of Acchillaens markings twinkle the same as the first day he looked upon him as he was pulled out of the water as he arrived at the shores of nestoria.
His face grew softer ,but yet reminded him of the first time their lips meet, now Acchillaen was the tidesinger,a warrior, and he faced the changes so well, it was truly hard that he went from a nestoris fisher who hadn't once layed a finger on a sword to having always carrying his staff on his shoulder.
But he was a master,a master of a clan nearing extinction, and he had a choice to pick his family or clan, but he stayed strong,at least till his mission ended.
