I work up from the threat of the usual dream I had, it happened like every morning, but I just couldn't get used to it.

I panted heavily like an asthmatic patient until I gained oxygen depth.

My phone rang and it was Damian calling.

"Good morning bro" Damian greeted as I answered the call.

"Morning brother"

"How was your night?" He asked

"Rough" I answered.

"Same dream?" He asked.

"Yeah, same dream" I answered as i scoffed.

"Let's meet up after work today and maybe cool oof in one of the bars" Damian suggested.

"Sure bro, I'll let you know when I'm off work" I replied.

"Alright bro, have a nice day" Damian said.

"You too" I answered as i hunged up, I gave out a sigh, walked into the bathroom took my bath, had breakfast and headed straight to work, I'm the C.E.O of P & S Oil company in Osun state and trust me it wasn't tast easy getting to reach this level, a lot was put into it, and on the other hand it was also easy 'cause of my father. I was born with a silver spoon or rather golden spoon depending on how one looked at it, as the only surviving child of my parents I was at liberty to get whatever I wished for, my father Late Senator Obafemi was a very influential man in the country and a share holder at P & S, that meant that an automatic employment awaited me immediately after service, after which i started work and gradually got to this level.

" Good morning sir!" Sandra my secretary greeted.

"Morning Sandra" I reciprocated as she got my bag from me while walking me to the office.

"How many meetings and seminars do I have on my schedule today?" I asked as i settled in.

"Your schedule for today are quite light Sir, two meetings and zero seminars" Sandra answered.

"So I'll be done before 2 p.m them?"

"Definitely Sir, if you need anything Sir, call me" replied Sandra as she was about walking out.

"Emm! Hey Sandra, a cup of coffee please". I requested.

"Coming right up Sir" She said as she chuckled and walked out.

I dived into summarizing the project i was handling just so that i could rest my head, but the next human that entered into my office made my eyes sore, Chief Emeka stood before me smiling like we've been friends for a long time.

"Quit the act Chief" I said strictly without breaking what looked like a smile to him.

"Ah ahn, Femi, don't be like that, at leas..."

"What is it?" I asked asi sharply interrupted him.

"Fine, since you want it that way, we'll all be meeting together, at the usual time and place, you know the drill, and consequences you will face if you dont come" Chief Emeka said as he stormed out of my office.

I felt anger growing inside me that i couldn't hold it back again I picked up the glass flower vase and directed it towards the wall and Sandra flashed in due to the shattering sound.

"Is everything okay Sir?" Sandra asked.

"Yes" I answered without looking.

"Sir--ard you sure you're okay?"

"I said I'm fine, just get out" I yelled and Sandra hurriedly walked out in fear.

I ran my hands through my hair in frustration, Chief Emeka was my Father's counterpart in business, and i use to think of him as my Uncle, but not until i found out who he really was, one of the causes of my problems, i regretted ever getting to know him, and his existence was a pain to me.
