Before We Begin: A short chapter to explain my AU

Hello, I'm Ezra! I'm a high schooler who writes for fun and uses they/them pronouns! I'm from Malaysia, and English isn't my first language, so apologies for any mistakes!

Now that you know who I am and where I'm from, let's be a bit more serious. Let's talk about the reason why you clicked on this fic:

The reaction book.

Now, the timeline for this book is set after the Vargoba attack, but before Boboiboy: The Movie 2, most of the characters will be from that timeline. We will also have two special guests: my OC, Max Jackson-Woods, and Percy Jackson!

Yes, you read that right! This fic will be a mini crossover between Boboiboy and Percy Jackson. I'll state my reasons why in the introduction chapter ^w^

Oh! And for those that read the chapter's title, you might be curious about what AU am I talking about. So let me get straight to the point: this fic will use how I personally think Boboiboy's powers work.

In this AU, Boboiboy and the elementals are not the same person. Rather, they are separate beings.

In canon, we know that the elementals can be taken/passed down to others. So here, the elementals are more like primordial beings that have been here since the start of time. They only have one weakness: they need a host so that they won't cease to exist. (This is kind of inspired by The Kane Chronicles. I haven't read the books yet, but I have read some PJO fics where Carter and Sadie are there/mentioned)

Boboiboy had always known that his power was different from the others. Not only was it really... --well, powerful,-- no one else ever mentioned their powers guiding them to do certain moves, how to correctly hold a weapon, and so on and so on.

Not to mention the fact that he could sometimes feel the weird feelings of Pride, Care, and Joy coming out of nowhere washing over him like a blessing whenever he managed to master a trick.

He finally figured out who were the "people" that "blessed" him after Ochobot upgraded his watch.

Unfortunately, it was safe to say that Boboiboy almost died. Again.

 Oh, and the elementals wanted to adopt him for some reason.

Now, back to me explaining stuff!

the elementals have three forms: a Merged Form, a Humanized Form, and their True Form.

The Merged Forms are really just what we see in canon. In this AU, the elementals could "merge" with their user's consciousness to allow said user to "borrow" their power.

Their Humanized Form is a mix of the Merged Form and their True Form. This is the form that they use if they feel like their user is worthy enough.

Since their user is Boboiboy, each elemental has a top-down black-to-(insert color) gradient for their hair, with matching eyes. They also have his skin color and iconic dino hat. Because of this, I'll simply describe the visible differences between the elementals.

Here's a quick description of each elemental's Humanized Form:

Thunderstorm: His hair is long enough to pull into a small ponytail and has a top-down black-to-darkish-red gradient. His eyes match the darkish redness of his hair, and it glows whenever he's using full power/feeling strong emotions. His skin tone is the coolest between the Original Trio, though Ice's skin tone is much cooler.

Cyclone: His hair is slightly shorter than Thunderstorm's and has a top-down black-to-sky-blue gradient. His eyes will match according to whatever color the sky is, and it will shine whenever he's using full power/feeling strong emotions. His skin tone is the most neutral of the bunch.

Quake: His hair is long enough to pull into a medium-sized bun and has a top-down black-to-hazel gradient. His eyes shift from dark brown to hazel and back, and it'll glow gold whenever he's using full power/feeling strong emotions. His skin tone is the warmest between the Original Trio, though Blaze's skin tone is much warmer.

Blaze: He has the shortest hair of the bunch, matching Boboiboy's hair length. It has a top-down black-to-orangey-red gradient. His eyes shift colors like how actual fires do too, and it'll change colors depending on how emotional he is/how much power he's using. His skin tone is the warmest of the bunch.

Ice: The longest hair length by far. It's long enough to be put into a braid, and if you've seen any long-haired Technoblade fanart (May he rest in peace), then you know how long it is. That being said, he has a black-to-ice-blue gradient, his eyes matching with his element due to how cold it looks. His skin tone is also cooler than the rest.

Thorn: He has the third longest hair, and likes to braid flowers into it. He has a black-to-parakeet-green gradient, and his eye colors will shift from forest green (if he's calm/resting) to chartreuse green (if he's having some strong emotions/ feeling active). His skin tone is neutral, with a bit of a cooler undertone as well

Solar: The second longest hair, it fades from top-black to down-yellow-ish-white. His eyes are gray and will shine white when feeling strong emotions/using full powers. His skin tone is the same as Thorn's but with a warmer undertone.

Their True Form is... very overwhelming. So overwhelming that you could die if you weren't careful.

Do you remember how Boboiboy mentioned almost dying again? That's because he looked at one of the elemental's True Form and looked away a little too late.

Thank goodness that Thorn managed to save Boboiboy before it was too late.

Canonically, Boboiboy switches personality based on which element he's using, right?

Well, in my AU, that happens because of him merging his consciousness with the elementals!

Sometimes, the elementals can take over Boboiboy. It only happens if he's losing control of his emotions, like how Beliung was first manifested.

This fic will also have some elemental x elemental ships since they're way older than Boboiboy.

The ships that will be in this book are Haligem (Halilintar x Gempa) and Icelaze (Ice x Blaze). Please don't ask me to do other elemental ships since I mostly see them as platonic.
