Long Overdue Authors Note

Hello all, yes, this is the long dead and elusive SeaWitch. I am, in fact, alive and have been this whole time.
Yes, for the last three and a bit years, I have been alive and kicking, ish, and I have been withholding new chapters from you, this whole time.
"This *whole* time?!"
This whoooooole time.
Okay, I'm exaggerating, and as is usual for fanfic writers, boy do I have a doozey of a story for you.
It starts with writers block, failing school, a lot, then we go on a nice narrative detour of going to grippy sock jail and leaving my job, getting a new job, a grandparent dying, and then we finish off with more school, and the removal of a misbehaving organ.
Now that I'm in a somewhat stable place, and finally interested in Greys again, hopefully this will come back from the dead. That being said, there's some changes I gotta make that should help with even more updates, and soon, actual chapters.
Firstly, I'm gonna have to recast Rin. I have seriously been struggling with the fact that Adelaide Kane got cast as a new intern on Greys Anatomy, because yay her, and it would give me great GIF's of her being a doctor. And if I kept her, later on, when Rin is an Attending, and, like, in her 40's, it would be funny for her to look at the new intern and go "woah, weird deja vu feeling, you look so familiar... eh, whatever" and continue on with her life, having it be a one off joke. But I can't do that, because the truth is, I know I'm gonna write 20+ seasons, I know Rin has to cover the visuals of 25-45 ish and Adelaide Kane does not have the GIF's to pull that off. And I have no talent with image distortion to age her myself. Also, it just kept feeling sad and unfunny to make that joke about deja vu and the intern looking like a young Rin.
Then, for ages, I was stuck because I couldn't find someone new who matched the idea of Rin in my head. A lot of my characters become fully formed people with their own opinions just living in my head, and often, I have no say over what they say or do, I can just change the situation around them and see what the monkeys in the zoo will do. It took a long time for Rin to agree to a new face, and now that she has, I feel energised to bring her back to life.
However, she has some stipulations to this face change. She also wants her height adjusted, as I've written her short, like 5'2", and now she's saying 5'7" or 5'8". She also wants every GIF changed and available to you at once, in one big hit.
She is picky, ornery, and she lives in my head, so I will obey her very annoying wishes.

That means, for a month or two, this book will not be available. When it is back, it will have all new GIF's, some much needed edits, both height related and of the syntactical variety, and hopefully shortly thereafter, a brand new chapter. I have many plans, they are good, fun plans, and soon they will be your for the devouring. Please be patient with me. I am merely sad little paeon, obeying my Queen, Rin Zolotov, scary and cute.
