𝟐𝟗 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞

"I'm so nervous," Yeosang said, looking uneasily across the street. "Don't worry," Jongho said, amused, but it was clear that he was just as nervous. Yeosang was happy to finally see Mingi and Yunho again, but he was just as afraid of their reaction to him and Jongho being together.

A person approached Jongho and Yeosang from behind. Then two hands placed on Yeosang's shoulders and he cried out loudly. Startled, he turned around and looked at San, who started to laugh. "You idiot." Yeosang hissed and held his chest to calm his heartbeat.

"I'm San." San then said in Jongho's direction. Jongho smiled a little uncertainly. "I'm Jongho, I'm Yeosang's..." he gave Yeosang a questioning look. San grinned and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I know," he mumbled and buried his hands in the pockets of his pants.

Yeosang looked at San. "Since when has your hair been so dark?" he asked, pointing to the dark pink that had always been brightly colored before. "The others thought it was too conspicuous," San explained. Yeosang raised an eyebrow. "And since when do you do what the others want you to do?"

San's smile disappeared a little. "Since Seonghwa and Hongjoong no longer trust me and I can be glad every day that they don't kill me." There was a hint of sarcasm in San's voice, but Yeosang knew he was serious. He bowed his head slightly, because all of this was his fault.

When San saw his reaction, he put a hand on Yeosang's shoulder. "Don't worry, it was already bad in this house before, it has nothing to do with you." Yeosang nodded slightly. He wished so much that San could be happy too. Yeosang had lost everything, but now he could have the life he wanted for the most part. San couldn't have that.

"Shall we go inside?" San asked, pointing to the house across the street. Yeosang looked at Jongho. Were they really ready?

"Go ahead, I'll follow," Jongho said. "I think it's better if we don't barge in together," he laughed and Yeosang knew it was just an excuse to stall for time. Nevertheless, he shrugged his shoulders and grabbed San's arm. "See you soon," he said and gave Jongho a warm smile to reassure him that everything would be fine.

As he and San walked along the stone path to the front door, he became increasingly nervous. "San?" he asked. "Yes?"

"Would it be okay not to tell the others that I'm no longer with you guys? I want to explain it to them in peace, not when there are others around." San nodded and they stopped in front of the door. Yeosang felt light sweat forming on his back.
San took a breath, then leaned forward and pressed the bell.

Only a few seconds passed before the door opened, but for Yeosang it felt like hours. Mingi's face appeared in the doorway. He looked totally different because his hair was shorter and there was a happy smile on his lips, which made him look like a puppy.

Mingi blinked at them. "Yunho!" he then called out loudly. It took less than ten seconds and Yunho was already standing in front of Mingi. When he saw them both, his eyes lit up. Without hesitation, he took first San, then Yeosang in his arms.

"I thought you weren't coming," he said, relieved. San grinned. "We snuck out. If Hongjoong finds out that we've met, he'll freak out." Everyone laughed, but Yeosang knew that San was telling the truth and he sincerely hoped that San wouldn't get into trouble.

Mingi made room for Yeosang and San to go in. After they had taken off their shoes, they looked around in amazement. Yeosang was surprised at how cozy the house was. Mingi appeared behind them, then pointed to someone sitting at the table.

"This is my best friend Wooyoung by the way." Yeosang's and Wooyoung's eyes met and Yeosang could see that Wooyoung was trying not to laugh. Mingi grabbed Wooyoung's hand and pulled him to his feet. "And they're Yeosang and San," Mingi explained. Wooyoung looked at Yeosang curiously as if they were seeing each other for the first time. Yeosang couldn't help but grin.
