Loki was scared. He knew something in his past will come to bite him like a injured serpent. That it will snatch away his happiness just when he starts believing in a peaceful future. He was scared that the retribution of his sins will be far more than he could bear.

New Asgard.

Loki was having nightmares again. Thor could feel it. He was shaking beside Thor in the bed, uttering incoherent yet fearful pleas.

" I am sorry..I didn't mean to..I am so sorry..so sorry.." Loki pleaded, tears streaming down his eyes in his sleep.

Thor and Loki were sleeping together for a few days now, since Thor became aware of Loki's increasing nightmares.

Thor tried to wake Loki up.

" Brother..brother wake up!"

Loki opened his eyes confused, scared.

" Thor? ..Thor!"

The next thing Thor knew was two arms were right around his neck in a tight hug..and a sobbing Loki wetting his night shirt with his tears.

Thor petted Loki's head. " Nightmares again, Brother? It's okay..everything will be okay. We are safe now. See.." Thor hugged Loki tightly, " I am here for you ..."

Loki calmed down a bit. Looking up at Thor, he said -

" They took you.."

Thor was taken aback. " Who Loki?"

" The villians ..in my ..nightmare..they took you..killed you in front of my eyes..as a punishment for my past misdeeds..I..couldn't save you.." Loki covered his eyes .

Thor hugged him tighter. Kissing his little brother on the forehead, Thor lulled him back to sleep. After all...Thor loved his little brother more than his life.

In the ruins of Jotunheim.

Amora, the enchantress was walking a bit scared. She recieved a secret message from Thrymir, the present King of Frost Giants, though the race was severely depleted during Loki's attack on the realm.

" Greetings..Enchantress.." Thrymir spoke appearing out of a cloud.

Amora, welped a bit.

" You scared me ..your majesty.." she replied.

Thrymir formed a cruel twisted smile. " No need to worry..consider me your ally."

Amora sat down on an ice seat Thrymir offered her.

" What service can I be of to his majesty?" Amora asked.

" Tell me..enchantress, " Thrymir spoke in a low dark voice, " Do you still thirst for revenge against Asgard?"

Amora's fists clench. Yes.. she indeed thirsts.

Many centuries ago..she was banished from Asgard by Odin due to foul use of magic. Since then, she has roamed through the harsh realms..leading a difficult life and starving for revenge.

But she was clever. Just because she hated Asgard, doesn't mean she will shake hands with the Frost Giants. These people were dangerous.

" I am afraid you have seen right through me, Your highness," she spoke. " But what of it?"
