The next day, I felt the crushing weight of loneliness creeping into my heart.

Without the man of my dreams by my side, and with no parents to comfort me, the emptiness was almost unbearable.

But I chose to ignore it, to push it aside, as I made my way to school.

I no longer cared about catching up to them before school started.

What was the point?

Senpai and Osana's conversations were beginning to sound like nails on a chalkboard.

As I walked into the school, I saw them talking near the entrance.

"Senpai, what kind of music do you like?" Osana asked, her voice annoyingly sweet.

"Well, lately I've been listening to a lot of classical stuff. Beethoven, Mozart, Bach..."

"So, a bunch of old dead guys? You've got some pretty strange taste, Senpai..."

"Oh, yeah? What do you like to listen to?"

"J-Pop and J-Rock, obviously!"

"Ah, that's not really my type of music..."

"You just haven't found the right bands yet! I'll put together a playlist for you to listen to at lunchtime."

"Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt..."

"I'll be waiting on the rooftop! Don't be late!"

"Oh, okay. See you later. " Senpai replied, looking a little confused.

As they parted ways, I slipped closer to eavesdrop on Osana and Raibaru's conversation.

I overheard something that piqued my interest—Raibaru mentioning Musume.

It seemed like Musume was up to something shady, and I realized that this might be the perfect opportunity to sabotage Osana once and for all.

And, also this was it.

The first time I'd use Info-chan's services.

I needed a recording device to capture the conversation, and Info-chan was the only one who could provide it.

I sent her a text, and as expected, she was more than happy to help.

Within minutes, she left a bug for me outside her room.

I picked it up and strategically placed one in the nurse's office.

"Okay, done," I texted Info-chan.

"Good job. I owe you one. What can I help you with?" she texted back.

"I need a microphone to record something."

"Done. Check behind the headmaster's statue near the shower rooms. You should find it there."

I hurried over and found the microphone exactly where she said it would be.

Perfect.

Now, all I had to do was wait for Osana and Musume to have their little chat.

Not long after, I spotted Musume approaching Osana.

"Hey, Osana. Come with me for a minute!" Musume said, her voice dripping with fake friendliness.

"Okay..." Osana replied, following her.

I trailed them silently, hiding behind a tree as I pressed record.

"I saw you talking to a boy from another school! Is he your boyfrieeeeeend?" Musume teased.

"What? HIM? Ugh, no way! That guy's a total creep! I wouldn't date him if he was the last man alive on earth! He can jump off a cliff for all I care!"
