". . Oh come on! you have to be joking!"

She let out a frustrated huff of air, after re-watching Murder drones for the third time she had checked the comment section only to find that the series would be ending with only 8 episodes, so much unexplained lore, thrown away character development and Cyn being turned into a rat tail pet. she looked dejectedly at her laptop before looking down at the time on her laptop, the time read 3:14 AM she sighed before closing her laptop and setting it on her nightstand, pulling her blackout curtains around the bed as she pulls the covers up and over her shoulders before curling up.

"Fucking hate cliffhangers..." sighing again she closes (Y/n) her eyes in an attempt to drift off into sweet, sweet peacefulness....

It's so cold..why- how..?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You think its even still alive?" an unnamed male worker drone spoke to Khan doorman as the bot's cyber eyes squinted whilst he rubbed his metal chin at the frozen capsule with frost all over the glass and in it containing a human, a still living breathing healthy human. Behind those two stood a couple of other drones, a maintenance drone, a detective drone and two medical drones on stand by. "We're about to find out."

Nodding to the maintenance drone Khan stepped back from the capsule by a few steps to allow the maintenance drone to work on the capsule to open it.

It took a few minutes of fidgeting with wires, coding and its power source before cold air hissed from the cryopod as the Maintenance drone stepped back with his equipment, giving the medical drones space to work as Khan only hoped that the human's physical health would remain stable...its..been a long while since any drones had to care for a human after copper-9's core imploded, the pod's lid popped up as the cold air from the pod spilled out around it while it deactivated. "Heart's working fine, breathing is steady." the female nurse drone to the right of the pod said with thinly veiled concern.

The doctor drone held a small light in between his metal fingers before carefully opening the girl's left eye and shining it on it causing the pupil to dilate as she groaned with goosebumps slowly showing on her skin from the cold as the doctor flinched back slightly in surprise, clicking his light off the male doctor drone put it back in his bag before turning to Khan doorman. "She needs to be moved to the medical bay we can care for the human much better there."

"Then lets get to it." Khan said before two more medical drones came by with a gurney as they carefully lifted up and placed her on it as she groaned again from the cold, a blanket was quickly thrown on her as the medical bots rushed her out of the stasis chamber hall with Khan standing their looking slightly worried about the human... And his home.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The first thing she sensed was different was the smell, her room didnt smell like oddly sterile hospital room, she also heard a heart monitor..she doesnt own or even know how to operate a heart monitor and her blankets definitely didnt feel like those given to patients that have been through extremely cold temperatures...and (Y/n) certain didnt leave her room lights on, blearily she opened her eyes as they strained against the harsh lighting above her, looking around the room she felt like she wasnt simply in a hospital, weakly she pushed herself upright in the hospital bed..she didnt remember going to sleep feeling this shitty.

She slowly swung her legs over to one side of the bed before wiggling her legs, then her feet and toes...good..thats good she isnt paralyzed, she strained whilst taking off the heart monitor and wincing as it beeped loudly before the noise was constant next was her IV, taking it out she rubbed her arm before she got off the bed. "oh!-" she recoiled slightly from the cold metal of the floor before fully hopping off her bed as her knees almost buckled she gripped the bed for support.

(Y/n) reached over for the wall, using it to brace herself to move about the new place before she almost fell over herself from surprise as following the sound of rapid footsteps heading to her room the door flew open as the nurses- robot. Nurses to be exact, different colored bright animated eyes turned to her as a female- she hoped she didnt assume wrong- robot nurse came over to her before gently taking her hands and leading her back to her bed. "Please dont touch any of this again, you nearly gave us all heart attacks." the lime green haired, white eyed nurse bot smiled at (Y/n) before a male nurse re-inserted her IV. "Your also much to weak right now to be out of bed, so dont even think about getting up again missy." the doctor bot scolded her as her heart monitor was reattached.

(Y/n) stared at the mechanical beings in awe and in slight fear "You are...your worker drones..right?" she meekly asked still in slight shock, the female nurse bot looked up from her clipboard and smiled warmly at her. "Yes we are, im glad you remember we were worried that your memory might be foggy as we couldnt exactly tell how long you've been in cryo sleep."

'This cannot be happening..right? i gotta be tripping balls on something.. but i havent left my house how would i have been drugged? maybe its some odd dream...some oddly realistic dream..' "do you happen to know when i would be able to get out of this room..or how long ive been in here even?" (Y/n) questioned the Nurse drone. "You've been in here for almost a week at this point- oh! how rude of me, my name is Nessa." The white eyed drone gave her a warm, almost motherly smile. "And you will be able to leave in about 3 weeks, we will need to run tests to ensure that you dont have any lingering effects from your cryo sleep and to make sure you leave healthy."

Okay..yeah that checks out totally, she felt like she was having an entire crisis right now, was she actually in Murder drones? thats like...totally not possible? was it impossible if she was right now? okay now her head hurt theres too much going on right now, she thought closing her eyes and sighing whilst leaning back against the pillows propping her upright.

"Im going to ask you some questions just to get some information and to help your memory okay?"
