Sirius black was always seen to be too much. He was always too loud, too rambunctious, too permesicuous, but when it came to you, it never was the same. He tended to be even worse? It was almost by mirical that you hadn't exactly mellowed Sirius out like many had assumed that you would, instead it was the opposite. From the moment that he had met you, he had almost wanted to prove that he was worthy enough to be with you. Now, Sirius wasn't sure who he was trying to prove it to but he definitely was trying to prove to someone that he was worthy of you.

It was the night the Gryiffindor's had won the quidditch game and naturally the tower had to throw a party celebrating their team. Naturally, party doer, Sirius Black had to do the most. He was four shots of fire whiskey in when you had entered the scene. And suddenly he was sober. Sirius immediately locked eyes with you and couldn't being to be more of a bother than when he actually was drunk. So here he was beelining to you. It may have been a mix of his infatuation for you or the fact that you were wearing a burgundy red dress that stopped just below your thigh. Either way Sirius knew he had to get to you before anyone else.

You were getting a cup of punch glancing the room trying to find Sirius. It was no secret that you liked the boy. You were unaware of how different he acts for you but his friends and apperatnly. yours are all aware how different he is with you.  It wasn't more then two minutes that you had come down from Lily's dorm when Sirius was at your side. He flashed you his signature smile but it was signature to you not to the other girls Sirius would flirt with. This smile was different. This smile was warmer, he was kinder and much softer with you than the more mysterious, grunge look he had with everyone else. With you he was egager to please and with them he was egager to get pleased. He didn't say anything for a moment he just wanted to stare at you.

"You look gorgeous, angel." He spoke fondly as he brushed your hair gently away from your face. He took in the beautiful smoky eye, which had a tinge of red. And the most beautiful red lip that made him want to kiss them. He wouldn't of course, because one he hadn't asked you two he refused to mess up your perfect makeup.

"Thank you love." You had grown fond of watching Sirius' cheeks turn red when you called him love, so you did it as much as you could. He gave you a playful smirk, and asked you how your punch was. You said it was enough but he didn't like that response. He asked you for your cup and went to work dumping then adding lemonade, ginger ale, and even a shot of fire whiskey to give you a light buzz but not get you drunk. The punch was your run of the mill spiked punch, it wasn't the greatest thing but it satisfied the itch for alcohol. Sipping it you thought it was a good drink, but you really were okay with the punch, but you wouldn't dare say no to Sirius. Sirius watched as you enjoyed your drink and he felt very proud of himself for having made you a better drink. He didn't leave your side since he got next to you. He stayed there. He waited on you hand and foot. You told him to go and talk to his friends but he always gave you an excuse about not needing to talk to them but it was really just that he wanted, to be with you.

As the night grew on you were nursing a nice tipsy feeling with the two drinks Sirius had allowed you to have. The music grew louder, and the feeling between you and Sirius was warm. You had wanted to dance, the music was perfect to do that, so you got up and looked at him. He was alert and bolted up when you rose from your previously relaxed state. Sirius looked at you, wonder in his eyes. You extend your hand and he grabs it, you lead him to the dance floor and you both dance the night away. Both of you were smiling, laughing and following one another to the rythm of the music.

The night turned into early morning and sleep began to grow on you. Your eyes drooping and Sirius took notice, it was a long time since you both had stopped dancing. The two of you were currently sat down, on a sofa in the far side of the common room. Sirius had his arm lazily thrown over your shoulder and your head was in the junction of his neck and shoulder. Sleepily you murmur that your tired.
