The night sky over Tokyo sparkled like a canvas of glittering lights, the city pulsing with vibrant energy. Neon signs danced across the sleek facades of towering buildings, casting a kaleidoscope of colors onto the bustling streets below.
Inside the cozy Italian restaurant, Il Giardino Delle Parole, Taki Tachibana worked his shift, the hum of conversations and clinking glasses filling the air. "Just another work shift," he murmured, his tone more resigned than enthusiastic.
Then, a young girl walked in, her presence a stark contrast to the busy crowd. Taki's gaze was drawn to her. She was Yotsuha, Mitsuha's little sister, and she seemed to be searching for someone. Her eyes, wide and earnest, scanned the room.
"Are you Taki?" Yotsuha asked, her voice a mix of hope and determination.
Taki looked at her, puzzled. "Who's asking?"
Yotsuha's lips curled into a knowing smile. "Mitsuha sent me."
A faint ringing echoed in Taki's head, momentarily disorienting him. He shook it off and focused on Yotsuha, who seemed both calm and anxious.
