Paulie was left speechless after Luffy smashed through the wall revealing his fellow craftsmen standing in front of a bloodied Iceberg

"Wha... this doesn't make sense. You're making it seem like you guys were the ones who were after Iceberg. But that can't be right!" Paulie shouted clenching his jaw as it started to hit him

"Stop screwing with me here!" He shouted the names of his fellow craftsmen along with Kalifa and Blueno demanding an explanation to which they did not do anything but stare at the man.

"I see. Then the attack on Iceberg was an inside job." Nami pointed out which seemed to confuse Chopper

"Paulie in all honesty, we're secret agents working for the world government. But hey, you'll forgive me if I say I'm sorry, right?" Lucci spoke to Paulie for the first time since meeting him "We were comrades, building ships together every day from down til' dusk. I realize this is quite sudden for you, so perhaps you'd believe me if I smashed Iceberg's face?" Lucci taunted Paulie who only got more riled up

The pirates behind him started in surprise as Paulie as Paulie finally spoke "Just shut the hell up! I've heard enough. you were that guy in the bull mask, weren't you? you almost killed Miwa, that was the first time we ever heard you talk!" Paulie said in an angry tone as he clenched his hands into fists.

With one last shout, Paulie got ready to attack Lucci ignoring Iceberg's protests. To Paulie's dismay, Lucci dodged his attack and used his finger to price his chest making Paulie drop his weapon and fall to one knee.

"It's pointless to resist. Our abilities far exceed those of a normal Human, as you can see. After many years of training, we've mastered an art called the 'six powers'. These techniques give us the power of 100 men" Lucci spoke looking down at the beaten-up Paulie.

"Sorry Paulie. Our friendship is over, I have to eliminate you"Lucci spoke with no hint of remorse in his voice ready to end Paulie right before Luffy tried to kick Lucci's face but failed after Lucci caught his foot.

Luffy launched himself toward Lucci and used his Gum gum Guanlet which failed after Lucci used his Iron body technique. With every move that Lucci made it seemed that the pirates were on the losing team. The only reason Luffy hadn't died when Lucci used his finger bullet straight into his neck was because of his devil fruit.

"You're a bunch of traitors! the point is, you're my enemy now. I made a promise with Paulie to beat the crap out of anybody who tries to hurt Ice Pops and the weapons girl!"

The pirates started arguing back and forth with their ex crewmate demanding an explanation for everything that was happening until Iceberg tried to get her to come to her senses resulting in Robin restraining him "I won't let anyone get in my way"

without saying another word Robin ignored the pleas of her crewmates as Lucci stepped up "Sorry to break up the reunion but I'll have to stop you there. You see we have a date this evening with a very important individual. One that's been over four years in the making, we're finished here, in other words, we're finished with you"

The pirates froze in fear as they heard Lucci ask Kalifa how much time was left to which she answered that there were two minutes left 

"Here's the deal. I know this is sudden, but in two minutes this building will go up in a ball of flames." at this statement the pirates along with Paulie gasped in horror "If you don't want to be burned alive I  suggest you leave the building as soon as possible. Of course, I have no plans to let you through"
