Riyaansh pov

All the guests had arrived at the engagement ceremony, and Aavya was also ready in her beautiful gown. Throughout the party, my eyes were only searching for Aadhya.

She was not even showing herself to me. On the other hand, attending to my business colleagues and the brand ambassador of another company really gave me a headache, even though I was very happy that my sister was starting a new chapter with her wedding.

I went to my mom and asked where Aadhya was. Mom said Aadhya is getting ready in her room and will come soon.

But I remained my wife's admirer, without telling anyone, and in the middle of the party, I went to my room.

As soon as I opened the door to the room, Aadhya was not there. I went to check and saw that Aadhya had taken out a royal blue saree but was struggling to wear it.

I went to Aadhya and softly asked.

Aadhya, what happened? Why aren't you coming downstairs after getting ready?

She said softly, shivering a little.

Riyaansh ji, I am not able to wear the saree, and I can't call anyone as everyone is busy downstairs at the party.

I cupped her face with both of my hands and looking into her eyes, I softly said, "Hey, my Aadhya, your husband is here with you, why do you need anyone else?"

Will you make me wear a saree? She asked in shock.

"Why can't I help you wear it?" I asked while coming closer.

"You can help," she said softly while blushing, lowering her gaze.

Riyaansh wrapped the fabric of the saree around my waist, his hands touching my abdomen. I felt butterflies in my stomach.

He started making pleats in my saree, then he inserted those pleats into my saree, then he made pleats of my pallu and pinned it up on my right shoulder.

Aadhya pov

I was feeling happy thinking about how God gave me such a good husband who is so skilled in many tasks, thank you God for sending Riyaansh into my life, I murmured.

Thank you, God, for sending my innocent wife into my life, who turned me from a ruthless person into a loving one. I whispered in her ear while pinning up her saree and kissed her cheeks.

"How do I look, Riyaansh ji, in the saree?" I asked

"You are looking just like mine," he replied, and I literally blushed over there.

"Only one thing is missing, Aadhya," he said.

"Which thing did? I ask"

"He held me from my waist and pulled me towards him, filling the middle parting of my hairline with sindoor," he replied.

"I think what could be a more beautiful moment for a woman when her husband loves her so much that he notices everything. I was literally happy, a tear even fell from my eyes."

"He wiped my tears and said, 'While hugging me, make sure I don't see tears in my wife's eyes,' he ordered."

"Alright, I smiled and replied."

"Let's go downstairs now," I asked him.

"Yes, madam, now will you walk or should I pick you up and carry you?" I asked, winking.

She blushed and said, "You're such a tease, Riyaansh ji," and we both went downstairs.

"I was very happy to see my brother and sister-in-law, both looked very happy. The elders blessed us by touching our hands, they both put rings on each other, and everyone clapped."
