The constant sense of dread that had once loomed over you and Noah was gone, replaced by a peaceful calm that neither of you had experienced in what felt like lifetimes. You had broken the curse that had bound you together across time, and now, you were free to shape your future on your own terms.

Yet, as life began to normalize, you couldn't shake a nagging feeling in the back of your mind like a half remembered dream that refused to fully fade away. But you pushed it aside, determined to move forward and embrace the happiness that you and Noah had fought so hard to earn.

Noah had returned to his music with a newfound energy, channeling his experiences into the band's new material. His songs were still dark, but now there was a note of hope woven through the lyrics, a reflection of the light that had finally entered your lives. You supported him every step of the way, thrilled to see him thriving after everything you'd been through together.

One evening, after a long day at the studio, Noah came home with a smile on his face. "I have a surprise for you," he said, taking your hand and leading you toward the living room. You followed him, intrigued, until you noticed the small box sitting on the coffee table.

"Noah, what is this?" you asked, your heart beginning to race.

He didn't say anything, just gestured for you to open it. With trembling fingers, you lifted the lid, revealing a delicate silver necklace with a small, intricately designed pendant a perfect match to the cross that had saved you both in the church.

Tears welled up in your eyes as you looked at Noah. "It's beautiful," you whispered, touched by the thoughtful gift.

He smiled, a soft, genuine expression that you'd come to cherish. "I wanted you to have something to remind you of what we've overcome. We've been through so much, and I want you to know that whatever comes next, we'll face it together."

You threw your arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. "Thank you," you murmured, feeling the warmth of his love and the strength of your bond.

As Noah placed the necklace around your neck, you felt an overwhelming sense of peace. The pendant rested just above your heart, a comforting weight that seemed to hum with the same protective energy as the cross that had saved you.

The days turned into weeks, and you and Noah fell into a rhythm of quiet contentment. Life was good better than you could have ever hoped for. The darkness that had once threatened to consume you both was nothing but a distant memory.

But then, one night, everything changed.

You were sitting on the couch, reading a book, when you noticed a flicker of movement in the corner of your eye. You looked up, expecting to see Noah, but the room was empty. A chill ran down your spine as you realized you were alone.

Setting the book aside, you stood up and walked to the window. The street outside was quiet, the night air still. But as you peered out into the darkness, you felt a familiar sense of unease creeping over you.

"Stop it," you whispered to yourself, shaking your head. "It's over. You're safe."

But the feeling wouldn't go away. You reached up to touch the pendant around your neck, seeking comfort in its presence. As your fingers brushed against it, you felt a strange, icy sensation that made you shiver.

Suddenly, the lights in the room flickered, and the temperature dropped. The pendant grew colder, almost painfully so, and you stumbled back, clutching it tightly.

"Noah!" you called out, panic rising in your chest. But there was no response.

The lights flickered again, and then, with a loud pop, they went out completely, plunging the room into darkness. You stood frozen, your breath coming in short gasps as you strained to see anything in the blackness around you.
