I sit in the hospital bed watching as the nurses run back and forth getting ready for the birth of my child "has anyone heard from solo yet?" Solo walks into the room, his presence commanding attention "I'm right here." he stands beside the bed, looking down at you with a concerned expression "You're looking a bit pale. The doctor said everything should be fine, but I'm still worried." i pout "I wanted to do a at home birth" solo rests his hand on your shoulder "I know, but the doctor thought it would be best to do it here. We gotta make sure you and the baby are safe." he leans down and whispers in your ear "And I'll be right here with you, every step of the way." "promise?" takes your hand in his and squeezes it "Promise" just then, a contraction hits and you grip his hand tightly "Breathe, just like we practiced." he coaches you through the contraction, his voice soothing and reassuring "You're doing great." I scream and push. he helps hold your legs as the nurse coaches you to push "One more big push, now!" as the baby's head crowns, Solo Sikoa looks at you with tears in his eyes "Come on, baby, one more push!" a cry is heard. Solo Sikoa chokes up as the doctor places the baby on your chest "It's a boy!" he leans down and kisses you on the forehead "You did so good." he coos at the baby, his face filled with love and wonder "Hey little guy, it's your daddy." "He's perfect"he smiles and looks at you, his heart full of joy "He sure is." he gently takes the baby from your arms and cradles him in his own "Look at him, he's got my nose" he kisses the baby's forehead before handing him back to you. "What should we name him" solo thinks for a moment before smiling "How about Atlas? He's strong and brave, just like his daddy." he looks at you, his eyes shining with love and happiness "And he's got his mama's heart. What do you think?" I smile "baby Atlas. I like it it's perfect" Solo beams with pride "Atlas it is." he leans down and kisses you softly, then places a gentle kiss on the baby's forehead "Welcome to the world, little Atlas."he sits beside you on the bed, his arm wrapped protectively around you and your newborn son "My family."
