"Leopardfur, you can do it!" encouraged Brambleberry. She was helping Leopardfur kit, but pain was filling the spotted she-cat's body, and her breath came in ragged gasps. The first kit had been perfectly fine, but the second was refusing to come out.

"Wait. Calm down for a moment, Leopardfur," Brambleberry suddenly ordered. The medicine cat then used her paws to shift around, then finally proounced, "Alright, try again."

This time, the kit came out easily, and Leopardfur collapsed gratefully into her nest, sucking water from the moss desperately. "Frogleap, you can come now," called Brambleberry, then exited the den.

"Hi, Leopardfur! How are you?" inquired Frogleap, looking concerned. "Tired, but happy. We've got a son and a daughter, Frogleap!" purred Leopardfur weakly. The she-cat was pale gray and the tom was golden with black ears. They looked so cute!

"Can I name the golden one Ripplekit? I've always liked that name." admitted Frogleap, his gaze full of love. Letting out an amused purr, Leopardfur added, "Sure. And the she-kit will be Dawnkit. Welcome to the world, kits!"

Leaning close to Leopardfur, Frogleap breathed, "Thank you, Leopardfur. You've sacrificed so much for me; this is the moment I always dreamed of. I love you." Pushing her nose into his thick gray fur, Leopardfur purred, "I love you too, Frogleap. Being together with you has made happier than I ever imagined!"
