"I thought they might cheer you up. You've been stuck in this room for a while, and I figured something pretty might help. But you don't have to take them if you don't want to."

Alone in the dimly lit cell, Medea calmly removed her shirt, her movements deliberate and composed.

'I might as well keep myself occupied,' she mused, her gaze shifting to the cold stone floor. 'A little exercise won't do any harm.'

With a steady breath, she lay flat on the ground, preparing to engage her body. Her muscles, though fatigued from recent trials, tensed with determination as she began a series of sit-ups.

'I should track my progress and push beyond my limits. Last time I managed 150... I'll aim for 200 today,' The thought spurred her forward, and she moved with methodical precision, her core straining yet enduring.

However, amidst the rhythm of her exercise, a more subtle frustration nagged at her. 'I never should have let myself indulge in a foolish crush. It's clouding my thoughts, dulling my appetite...'

Her brow furrowed, the tension in her body growing with each repetition. Sweat began to bead on her skin, a faint sheen reflecting the flickering light of the cell.

But as the minutes passed and the burn in her muscles deepened, the irritation gnawing at her mind remained.

'This isn't helping...'

Despite the physical exertion, she couldn't shake the growing sense of dissatisfaction, the weight of her emotions clinging to her even as she pushed her body further.

As Roxana ascended the stone steps leading back into the estate, the sound of a distant voice reached her ears. "My lady! Lady Roxana!"

Turning slightly, she saw a man hurriedly running toward her, breathless but determined, his presence catching her attention. She paused, glancing over her shoulder.

'What was his name again...?' His familiar face stirred a memory, and as he bowed deeply, it clicked. "Oh, Yoan. I hope Charlotte wasn't too harsh on you last time."

Panting slightly but smiling with flushed cheeks, he nodded. "I'm fine, thank you! You remembered my name! I'm honored, my lady!"

His face lit up with admiration, and from behind his back, he revealed a modest bouquet of lavender flowers. "I know these aren not much, but these are for you, my lady."

Roxana's gaze fell on the delicate flowers in his hands. 'These flowers...' A faint hint of surprise colored her voice. "A present? For me?"

Yoan's heart pounded in his chest, his nerves apparent as he stumbled over his words. "Yes, my lady! I know they're not as beautiful as you, but... it would mean the world to me if you accepted them."
