Determined to follow the clues from the map, Elena made her way to the old graveyard on the outskirts of Blackwood. The graveyard was overgrown and abandoned, the stones weathered by time. The place had an air of desolation, the only sound the rustling of leaves in the wind.

She walked carefully between the graves, her eyes scanning the stones for anything out of the ordinary. Many of the graves were old, names barely visible, but one grave stood out. It was an unmarked stone with a faded inscription that read: "Nathaniel Harper, 18—"

Elena's heart skipped a beat. This was the same Nathaniel mentioned in the book and the journal. She knelt by the grave, feeling a cold breeze that seemed to emanate from the earth itself. The grave was covered in a thin layer of leaves, but as she brushed them away, she noticed something etched into the ground beneath—the same symbols from the book.

Her breath caught in her throat as she realized the symbols were part of a larger pattern, a ritualistic design that seemed to connect the grave with the nearby ritual site marked on the map. She needed to investigate further, but the oppressive atmosphere of the graveyard made her feel uneasy. She took a final look around before heading toward the ritual site.
