Backstory:

Jungkook and Y/n's love story began in high school, where their worlds collided in a mix of youthful innocence and unspoken secrets.

Jungkook was the enigmatic, charming guy with a hidden life in the world of crime, while Y/n was the kind-hearted girl who saw through his tough exterior.

Their relationship blossomed from a close friendship into a deep, abiding love. After two years of dating, they married, their happiness seemingly boundless.

The first year of their marriage was filled with joy. Y/n had become the center of Jungkook’s world, and he did everything in his power to protect her from the darkness of his criminal activities.

They built a life together, their days filled with laughter and love. However, the shadows of Jungkook’s world loomed large, and the bubble they lived in was about to burst.

The crisis began when Jungkook’s best friend, Jimin, was diagnosed with leukemia. Jimin is a man with no close family and a fierce pride, chose to keep his illness a secret.

He didn’t want to burden anyone, especially not Jungkook, who had enough on his plate. Jimin’s illness was a heavy burden he chose to carry alone.

Jimin and Y/n shared a brother-sister bond and Y/n would often visit his house. One day as usual she visited, but found Jimin’s medical reports while she was visiting him.

The sight of the grim diagnosis left her devastated. Despite Jimin’s plea for silence, Y/n couldn’t turn a blind eye to his suffering.

She decided to help him but he requested her not to tell it to Jungkook as it'll bother him. She started bringing him homemade meals, and providing comfort during his tough moments.

As time was passing his conditions was getting weaker so Y/n would often stay over at his house to make sure he's attended whenever he needs her. Y/n would lie to Jungkook that she's visiting her friend.

Y/n also hired some staff to take care of Jimin but one week his condition got worse and Y/n had to leave to his place in midnight.

As Y/n’s secret visits became more frequent, Jungkook began to notice. He saw her leaving the house late at night, her phone ringing with unexplained calls.

The once clear and straightforward relationship between them now seemed shrouded in mystery. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was amiss, and suspicion started to cloud his mind.

Jungkook’s insecurities and paranoia grew, fueled by the unknown. His mind, always a maze of uncertainty, began to twist Y/n’s actions into something sinister. He started to believe that Y/n was hiding something from him.

One day he decided to follow her secretly only to find her visiting Jimin's place. At first he didn't think much and decided to stay outside his house for an hour. But then he saw Jimin getting out shirtless from his room to his balcony followed by Y/n who was wearing one of his sweatshirts.

His once unshakeable trust in her began to erode, replaced by jealousy and anger. His own brother like friend betrayed him.

Since then Jungkook became abusive and he would often come home drunk which kind of devestated Y/n.
