Tick. Tick. Tick. The clock above the room silently ticked, eventually reaching 6:00am. And finally ringing.

Emma turned around on her bed, now laying on her back as she opened her eyes. She sat up, waking up with a smile on her face. After she stretched, she raised her arms into the air. "Good morning everyone! Time to get up, or you'll miss breakfast!"

Laughter and chatter soon filled the room as the kids who were in there, started to wake up and get ready for the day. As Emma was helping button one of her siblings shirts, Y/n was helping Conny tie her shoes.

Lannion and Thoma were chasing each other around, laughing and giggling. "Hey! No running, and get ready!" A girl with dark green hair, and round circle glasses yelled after them. The girl, names Gilda, ran after them. Trying to get them to help with the others.

"Y/n!" Emma yelled after her, as she were already in the hallway. Emma hugged her. "Good morning!"

Y/n giggled as she felt Emma squeeze her tightly. "Good morning, Emma." And Y/n patted her head.

In the main dining hall and hallway, all of the kids were laughing and goofing around.

"Good morning Emma and Y/n" Don, a fair-skinned boy with dark brown hair waved to them. He was holding one of the littles, Conny. She had light blonde hair, styled in two twin pigtails. She was holding a white stuffed bunny, with a pink and light blue bow around it's neck. "Good morning" She softly smiled.

"Good morning Don. Good morning, Conny!" Emma responded, patting Conny's head.

"Good morning guys." Y/n responded, carrying Phil. Phil was also fair-skinned, and he also had dark brown hair. Although it was shorter than Don's. He had a cute smile on his face, and his blue eyes twinkled as Y/n held him.

In the main dining hall, the two made it just in time for breakfast. Emma was slightly pushed by Lannion and Thoma, who were still roughhousing. They laughed as Emma turned around slowly. Emma quietly laughed, her way of being "menacing". "Now you've done it." Emma fully turned around. A smile cracked on her face, "I'm gonna eat you!" She laughed, now chasing them.

Y/n watched, a smile on her face as she put Phil down.

Norman and Ray walked into the dining hall from the kitchen. Norman pushing a cart with some of the breakfast on it, a soft smile on his face. While Ray was holding a jug, maybe full of jam or juice.

"Hey guys!" Emma smiled, Phil now on her back. "Good morning!"

"Hi Emma." Norman replied. "You're so full of energy, and you haven't even eaten anything yet."

"That's Emma for you" Y/n playfully sighed, helping set the plates and silverware.

"Good morning, Emma." Ray sighed aswell. "Come on, how old are you? Five?"

"I'm eleven, same as you three!" She pouted. "And I'm one of the oldest kids here..!"

A voice chuckles behind Emma. It was Isabella, or known as 'Mother/Mom' She was the caretaker of the orphange of Grace Field. She had long black hair, styled in a medium-to-low bun. She has dark lilac eyes and wore an apron with her black dress.

"You're laughing too, mom..?" Emma pouted even more.

"Emma, come help me out with these plates" Isabella chuckled again.
