A week later
• Scarlett POV °
I rubbed my eyes before getting out of bed effectively without waking Kai. I headed to the bathroom I had in my room.
I had been staying at the hotel for a week under the request of Charlie who was worried about me. She knew that I would be safer with Lucifer and Alastor in the same place than alone at home.
That doesn't mean I wasn't there every day to work, but always Lucifer, Alastor or both accompanied me with their work or took turns.
I quickly picked out something to wear before heading to the kitchen to make something for everyone to eat. The meeting would be at 11:30 a.m. and it's fortunately only 8:22 a.m. so we had a little more than 3 hours until the meeting.
I knew the rest in which would be awake and I wanted to be done with breakfast before that. I sighed as I pulled out all the ingredients for our gang's breakfast.
I hoped our plan would go off without a hitch and they wouldn't be clinging to me coming to Heaven.
The plan is simple: Lucifer, Alasstor along with Charlie and Vaggie will go to Heaven together. I will stay at the hotel under the pretext of protecting it.
They will tell them that a few Overlords don't like Charlie's plan and will use the moment of their non-attendance to destroy the hotel. All in all, it's not a lie knowing the Vees' intentions, they could easily send their men to destroy the hotel.
My presence here gives the building a lot of protection. I put food down for Kai before I took to cooking for us knowing that I still had another 20 minutes before the rest of them woke up.
I gave them a special potion without them knowing so that they would all have a peaceful and long sleep. I will wake them up with my magic to get them up in time.
I should also make them something to eat there if they feel uncomfortable eating Angel food. I know Lucifer will feel most uncomfortable there for all the years he was not there. I also know that he has bad memories after his exile from Heaven.
