If I have on piece of advice for anyone, it would be don't let what other people say define who you are. Pretty much what that means is if someone tells you that you're something, that doesn't mean that you are that something. If someone calls you fat it doesn't mean you're fat. It doesn't mean you have to stop eating, take diet pills, exercise more than you should ect. Just so you can get skinny. If someone calls you stupid it doesn't make you stupid. What do they mean by stupid anyway? Maybe you're failing one of your classes but so what? You are not stupid. What someone says about you doesn't make you that. If they called you a purple cow does it make you a purple cow? I know you're probably thinking 'what the hell are you talking about?! Get to the point!' The point is, if someone calls you a purple cow, unless you are an actual purple cow, it obviously doesn't make you a purple cow. So if someone calls fat, it doesn't suddenly make you fat now does it? It's just their opinion which is obviously very wrong. Everybody has their own ways of coping, and I know for some people it's putting others down so they can feel better about themselves. If someone skinny approaches you and calls you fat, it's just so it makes them look skinnier. So what if you have a little flab around your belly, or you don't have a thigh gap. Who actually gives a damn. You're perfect just the way you are! The point I'm trying to make is that just because someone calls you something, it doesn't make you that something, so don't let that define who you are.
