"Phew" whispered Chloe,"that was a close one." Chloe Mc Arthur (aged 13) just escaped Mrs Bloom. Her and her twin brother , Conor (aged 13 too) , were fostered and their foster mum was Mrs Bloom. Chloe and Conor think that she is the meanest person alive. Mrs Bloom makes them do all the chores and she only gives them one meal a day. Conor reckons they would have just dropped dead if they didn't have Elizabeth. Elizabeth is Mrs Blooms real child and she's only 5 but she keeps them entertained and she sometimes even sneaks them food !
"I can't believe that she almost got us!" whispered Conor. They had been running from Mrs Bloom because she wanted them to clean all the dishes. "I know !" exclaimed Chloe. "Umm maybe we should check on Elizabeth , to make sure that she's ok and that she doesn't have to do the dishes," said Conor nervously. "Yea , maybe we should," agreed Chloe. So with that , they set off towards Elizabeth's room.
ELIZABETH
I was playing with My Little Pony when I heard someone knock on my door. "Who's there," I asked. "Um it's Chloe and Conor ," said a familiar voice. "Oh ok then , come on in," I said relieved , and I heard them come in and shut the door behind them.
