Don't mind the ship name word mash up and stuff but anyways this is a Solar x Ruin x Nexus one :> also since the requester added past and present I decided why not both :D I can never decide :< so it will be a mix of past and future is stuff. Ya know stuff like that :> also decided the title as Sweet to Sour because mainly of Nexus and stuff also because Ruins sorta a evil boi for the mass genocide of killing so many and other universes and stuff, but Solars just Solar ya know? Oh and warning because Nexus is Nexus and future/present him isnt nice to Ruin :< so for the realistic affect this is a weird mix of not terrible abuse but ill try at lest not to make it terrible, and love or actually lovey dovey romance and stuff :> anyways, here ya go :> also kinda boring in the beginning but eh. Also this is just made up and not really logical or like uhhhhh-... just a made up event or stuff because like why not and i read a fantasy book before making this so got all my ideas from it now so if it sucks blame me and the book. Actuslly not the book that wouldbe rude to the writer :< but anyways YAAAYYY :> also this is a merman Ruin and pirate captains Solar and Nexus :> likely cringe sooooo, uh-  yippee!

Ruin was just swimming gracefully as always towards the surface since he always was fascinated by humans and how they functioned, but he knows their society isn't very different from the merpeople society and that's mainly it. Ruin never actually really physically touched or even talked to a human but he watched from the waters usually, but he has his eye set on two specific humans, and from what Ruin could gather ones name was Solar and the other Nexus. They both owner their own ships and crew which if Ruin remembers correctly, that means they would be captain.

Ruin soon has his sight set on a familiar ship and Ruin swam over but not to close since Ruin was taught that humans are dangerous ever since he was young. Ruin watched as the many crew members were at work but Ruin mainly watched Nexus. Nexus was just so commanding and pritty much straight forward, a straight to the point typ of guy that would also some times tease certain people.

Ruin watched closely as he praticly was studying them, at lest mainly Nexus though. Ruin would swim closer ever so often since the ship of course would keep moving away with the wind that would push the ship in the direction that the sail was set at.

But soon Ruin had to go since he seen the crew cast out their net. Likely to catch fish, and that's when Ruin noticed the large mob of fish under the ship.

Ruin swam away but not to far since he still wanted to watch them, more specifically Nexus, since Nexus looked and acted interestingly, at lest in Ruins eyes that was.

After a while Ruin watched as the crew pulled up the net after catch quite a lot of fish which then lead to Ruin swimming back up and poking his upper half out the water to watch more clearly since watching underwater isn't the best seat in the house since it made everything look disoriented ovobe the surface.

Ruin watched more and somemore before deciding to swim closer. Ruin didn't really mind getting captured, he had been captured before actually by when Nexus used to go by Moon.

Ever since Ruin got captured by Nexus and ever so often seen Solar, he was always so interested in the two for some reason. They made Ruin feel like he had thoughs things that humans call butterflys in his stomach, it was a overwhelming feeling of warmth really. Made his face feel hot like he was growing ill but he wasn't actually.

Ruin swap closer to the point he might aswell be withing 10 or 9 feet from the ship, which is dangerously close, but Ruin couldn't help it, he wanted to talk to them, he wanted to talk to Nexus. Since Ruin never actually talked to Nexus when he was first captured, but now he just has the urge to talk to him for some reason, he wants to his and Solars embrace weirdly enough.

Soon a crew member that was close by the railing soon called out and pointed out Ruins location, but coincidently Solars ship came into view from almost right behind Nexus. Solar and Nexus arnt allies anymore after their whole ideal of what happend but they wouldn't actually try fighting eachother, or hurt eachother either. Ruin was watching Solars ship about to swim over before feeling rope around him and he quickly ended up getting tangled in the rope which he struggled to free himself a bit but he kinda figured that he probably was the one being dumb anyways by coming so close to the ship.

Ruin was brought aboard Nexuses ship right as Solars ship came up right next to Nexuses and they put out a board to walk across from ship to ship as some from each crew chatted a little but mainly Solar ad Nexus chatted before both their attentions were brought to the catch, Ruin.

Ruin was in a classing mermaid/merman pose tha would ususlly be take whe resting on a rock, as Ruin looked around he didn't really panic since he already knows he will only be put in a water tank or left in a room or somthing similar.

Solar and Nexus walked twords the catch and Nexus grined but Solar looked a bit amazed. Solar heard about Ruin when he was first caught before but never actually seen Ruin

Solar: "woah-..." *Solar said amazed*.

Nexus: "how sweet to see you again" *Nexus said*.

They didn't know Ruin can talk so upcoming thing will be a shocker.

Ruin: "why thank you, nice to see you again as well" *Ruin said as his British accent was very clearly heard*.

Nexus and Solar were actually both a bit shocked since the didn't think the merman was sentient.

Nexus: "you can speak?..." *Nexus asked*.

Ruin: "uhmm... yes, I indeed can" *Ruin said, facing Nexus and Solar since Nexus and Solar are standing by eachother*.

Solar: "interesting...." *Solar said right after Ruin spoke

Everyone was slightly dumbfounded since they all even the crew members never expected the merman to be able to talk.

[Also would it be merman or merbot? I'm confusing myself-]

Before the would contine their conversation Nexus instructed his crew to get Ruin to the water tank in the ship and put away the nets. Solar followed Nexus down to the water tanks were Ruin was being kept at and when they walked in Ruin already was just laying back on the ground of the tank just staring up at the surface and opening of the tank.

Honestly probably shorter with that large ah, ah intro thingy at the start but eh, I wanna know if this is good and if you guys want me to continue this one :> also please give any request you want still! I'll make sure at lest get in  part one of each story to the continue later and make more parts in time :D
