The next few days for Reddick was easy and silent. He did not hear a knock or have unwanted or unknown guest come to his home. the Letter seem to stop as well. The only thing at did stay in consistent was that of his interactions with Giovanni. The seem to really like each other spending more and more time together. "So, tell you what your most crazy day you ever had. Other than meeting me and Lizzy." Reddick smiles and said, " Hey that's not fair that shit was crazy." Giovanni spins around to Reddick and stops him in the middle of the street they are walking on. "Yes, I know but I want to know something I don't know."
Reddick smiles and laughs. " Well, what I do know is that if we don't get out of this street, we gone git hit. Then I can't tell you shit." Giovanni wraps his arms around him and smiles. " Then let's get hit together that way you can leave me if we in the hospital bed next to each other." Reddick lightly pushes Giovanni head back and smiles. " No, fuck you on that you can have all that shit for yourself." The street remains silent with not a car in sight. No sound of anything but them and the traffic two streets over.
Just as they stand there looking at each other in the eyes. Giovanni's Phone rings. He looks at the phone and his face go from happy and smiles to serious. With a look a wonder Reddick Ask, "Everything ok?" Giovanni Looks up and with a slight smile says, " Si, just give me a second." They both leave out of the middle of the street and Giovanni walks a little bit ahead to answer his phone.
Reddick stops to looks at a mural that was spray painted on the side of a building. He also takes notice that Giovanni tone has not only lowered but also hard and serious. As Reddick start to walk closer. He can't hear the conversation, but he can hear Giovanni getting louder. He stops just short and wonders. Just what is going on, who is he talking to, and why is he now yelling.
