Chapter 4

I almost got out the door, but before I could Matteo said, good luck. I nodded. I got to the meeting as quick as I could. When I got there Voldemort gave Draco and me a darker mark. The darker the mark the higher the death eater status you were. We got the darkest mark just like our parents. The meeting was pretty much about how I have to kill someone. Why me? I asked. Well, Voldemort said, because you are super tough. Oh, I thought to myself. Who do I have to kill? Blaze, Blaze Zabini, he said. Do you understand? Yes, master I do. I felt sick to my stomach I've never killed anyone before. Voldemort then, said the meeting was over. I then left to get on the bus before it left. I got to Hogwarts in time before anyone knew I was gone. I entered the common room bursting into tears. Matteo got up quickly to see if I was ok. Rosie, he said. Do you want to talk about it? No, I said running into my room crying. 

(Matteo's POV) I don't know why Rosie is crying. Maybe I should go talk to her. I don't know, I don't want to make her even more upset. Whatever I can't let her be alone. 

(Back to the regular story). I was just crying in my room. I still couldn't get over the fact that I have to kill someone. I Just couldn't stop crying. Then, Matteo came in. Can I come in, he said. Ya, I guess, I responded. He layed down next to me and put his hand on my waist. Is it ok if I do this, he said. Ya, I don't care. So, tell me what happened, he said with a soft, kind voice. Well, you wouldn't understand, I said. Yes, I would. I used to work for Voldemort and remember I'm a Riddle, he said. Oh, I forgot. So, tell me, he said. You keep changing the subject, he said. Sorry, Its just I, I. It's ok you can tell me anything, he said. I, I have to kill someone, I said crying still. Oh, he said kind of shocked. Well, you can do it. You're like the toughest person I know. I know I seem tough, and that's only because I grew up in a tough home, I said. I get that, he said understandingly. Also, I don't like being a doormat if you know what I mean. I do he said. I layed up and said really? yes, I do. I've been a doormat before, and I don't like it. We lock eyes and almost kiss, but I said can I have a hug. Sure, he said. Then we hugged. I'm going to go take a shower, I said. Ok, he said. He then left the room.
