I could never have imagined that my sister, that shining star of high society, would choose to leave her prestigious and noble private school to join me in this insignificant and almost dilapidated public high school. Flora, the undisputed queen of garden parties, etiquette lessons, and horseback riding classes, would now have to settle for the most ordinary education... or so it seemed.

Let's just hope she doesn't end up getting involved in that devious game they called 'The Deception Game'.

Designed with calculated malice and intentions, this game had been implanted in this school by four boys who were nicknamed the hunters. It wasn't just a simple pastime but a psychological war where strategies were woven like spiderwebs, blending vicious manipulation, subtle seduction, and sinister backstabbing to achieve one ultimate goal. These heirs to colossal fortunes selected each year, from a mountain of applications, seven girls and three boys to participate in this cruel game. On rare occasions, they would be captivated by someone who hadn't even applied. In these unusual instances, the hunters took the initiative to invite that person into their private circle. And so far, no one had dared to refuse their offer because the prize at stake was too enticing, too irresistible.

The challenge was simple in appearance: each player was given a bracelet. The one who, at the end of the game, had collected the most was crowned the winner. But the bracelets could neither be stolen nor forcibly taken. The participants had to willingly give them up. To achieve this, one had to be endowed with extraordinary finesse and skill. This was where the entire complexity and sinister beauty of the game lay.

As for the prize... becoming a millionaire overnight, who would dare refuse such a temptation?

Hidden behind loose clothing, I easily managed to conceal my figure, one of the few advantages of my plain appearance. My disheveled look, my tousled hair, my dark circles—everything about me was designed to make me go unnoticed. Nothing about me attracted attention. But my sister, with her radiant beauty and natural grace, would undoubtedly catch the eyes of the hunters if they ever laid their eyes on her.
