Today was a good day in (insert random town in America). The air was fresh, the atmosphere was peaceful, and-
"AAAAAAAAHHHH!!! I'M LATE!!!"
sigh...

*thud thud thud*
Charborg slammed the door of his house open.

This is Charborg, a new student of Twitch High, a prestigious high school in (insert random town in America). He seems to be running to school with toast in his mouth l. His cat ears twitched, his tail swung side by side, and he was whimpering, "Ahh!! I can't believe I'm late on my first day on Twitch High!!" Charborg says as he pants. As he runs, he can see the gate of his new high school. His eyes spark with joy, and he runs faster. "Yes!! The gate!! I need to run faster, my class is about to start!!!" But then... he trips and falls to the ground.

*falls*

His book fell out of his bag to the ground.
"Ouch.. oh no!! My book!!!" Charborg yelled.

As he tries to collect all of his stuff, someone starts helping him.. it's. CRIKEN SENPAI?! The most popular alpha wolf in school is helping him!? But... how does Charborg know Criken Senpai?? Charborg is new!!.. well, both of them were best friends when they were little, but Charborg needed to move to a city, so they stopped seeing each other.

Charbrog eyes widen in shock. He blushed. He can't believe this... Criken is in Twitch High!!! Also.. why does Criken look so.. handsome??... wait!! No!! They're only friend!! Charbrog can't think about Criken like th-

"Charborg, is that you!?"
Oh no! Criken recognises him!!
"Uhh.. yes.." Charborg stuttered; he blushed harder.

Criken smiles widely and says, "It's been a while!! I missed you.."

Criken missed Charborg?? Really!? This is strange.. what are these feelings??.. Charborg hasn't felt this way since.. he was a child.. this feels.. wrong..

"Uhmm, I missed you too, Criken senpai.. nya.."

Criken blushed. "*giggles* You sound so cute,"

Charbrog blushed harder. "S-S-Shut up, nya!!!"

Charbrog looked away. He tried to find a reason to stop talking with Crikem, and then, he remembered. His class!! Yes!!!
"Umm, sorry, Criken senpai, but I have a class to attend!!"

Criken looks at Charbrog and tilts his head. "Class, huh?? Oh, sure!!.. but.. May I ask what class you're in??"

Charborg blinked, his heart racing in his chest as Criken senpai looked down at him, those sharp, piercing wolf eyes practically boring into his soul. Why did Criken have to be so tall? And strong? And... alpha?

"I-I'm in class 1-B, nya!" Charborg stammered, his voice shaky as he fumbled to shove his books back into his bag. The blush on his cheeks only deepened when he realized Criken was still kneeling next to him, casually watching with that infuriatingly confident smirk.

"Class 1-B? That's right next to mine," Criken said, his voice low and deep, the kind of voice that sent shivers down Charborg's spine. "I can walk you there, Charborg-chan."

"N-N-No!! I can go on my own!!" Charborg's tail flicked nervously, his cat ears twitching uncontrollably. Why was Criken being so nice? It wasn't like they were kids anymore. Back then, Criken was the protective older friend, always stepping in when bullies tried to mess with Charborg. But now... now Criken was even more intimidating. He was the school's alpha. The most feared yet admired student at Twitch High.

Criken chuckled, standing up to his full height. "Still as shy as ever, I see. You're really cute when you're flustered, Charborg-chan."

"S-Stop calling me that, nya!" Charborg squeaked, practically scrambling to his feet. He tugged on his uniform, trying to hide his embarrassment. His tail curled around his leg in an instinctual show of submission, something he hated doing, but he couldn't help it in front of Criken. He was an omega, after all, and Criken was the most alpha alpha he'd ever met.

Without another word, Charborg took off running toward the school gates again, the toast still clenched between his teeth. He couldn't be late. Not now, not on his first day. And not after that embarrassing encounter with Criken Senpai. But before he could make any real distance, he felt a strong hand wrap around his arm, pulling him to a sudden stop.

"You're running again, Charborg-chan. You're going to fall if you're not careful," Criken said softly, his grip firm but gentle. Charborg could feel the warmth of his hand, the strength behind it.

"I-I'll be fine, nya!" Charborg protested, trying to wiggle free, but Criken's hold was too strong.

"Come on," Criken said, his voice softening as he let go and motioned toward the school. "I'll walk you there. I insist."

Charborg's ears drooped as he let out a defeated sigh, nodding reluctantly. It wasn't like he could refuse Criken senpai. He was the alpha, after all. And, deep down, Charborg felt... safer with him around. He hated to admit it, but Criken's presence was comforting in its own strange, intimidating way.

As they walked through the school gates together, Charborg kept his head down, his cheeks still burning red. He could feel eyes on them. Everyone at Twitch High knew Criken-he was practically a legend. And now, here Charborg was, the new kid, walking beside him like they were... like they were...

"W-We're not a couple, nya!!" Charborg suddenly blurted out, his face turning crimson as he realized how close they were walking.

Criken chuckled again, ruffling Charborg's hair with a teasing grin. "Who said we were? Unless you want us to be..."

Charborg's heart skipped a beat, his breath catching in his throat. Was Criken... teasing him? Or was he serious? He couldn't tell. Everything about Criken was confusing, and it made Charborg's head spin.

"N-N-Nya!!! I-I-I don't-!!" Charborg stuttered, his mind racing as he tried to form a coherent sentence. But before he could say anything else, a group of students passed by, whispering and giggling amongst themselves.

"Isn't that Charborg-chan, the new omega?" one of them whispered.

"And he's with Criken senpai?!"

"They look... close."

Charborg wanted to sink into the ground and disappear. He didn't need this kind of attention, not on his first day! Especially not with Criken right there, towering over him, all confident and calm like it was no big deal.

Criken, on the other hand, didn't seem to mind the whispers. He seemed amused by them. He glanced down at Charborg, who was visibly shrinking under the attention and grinned. "Looks like you're pretty popular already, Charborg-chan."

"Shut up, nya!!" Charborg hissed, his tail puffing out in frustration. But Criken just laughed, that low, rumbling laugh that always made Charborg feel even smaller.

As they reached the classroom, Criken placed a hand on Charborg's shoulder, stopping him before he could bolt inside. "Hey, Charborg-chan," Criken said softly, leaning down so they were at eye level. Charborg froze, his breath catching as Criken's golden eyes locked onto his. "I know we haven't seen each other in a long time, but... I'm glad you're here. I've missed you."

Charborg's heart skipped a beat. There it was again-that strange, confusing feeling. He didn't know what it was, but every time Criken smiled at him, every time he looked at him like that, Charborg couldn't help but feel... something. Something he wasn't ready to admit.

"I-I missed you too, Criken senpai... nya," Charborg whispered, his voice barely audible as he looked away, his face burning.

Criken's smile widened. "Good. Now, get to class before you're late again, Charborg-chan."

Charborg nodded quickly, slipping inside the classroom without another word. As soon as he was inside, he let out a breath he didn't realize he'd been holding. His heart was still racing, his mind a mess of emotions. What was happening? Why did being around Criken make him feel so... so... weird?

He took his seat, his tail curling around his leg as he stared at the desk in front of him, trying to calm his racing thoughts. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stop thinking about Criken Senpai.

Meanwhile, outside the classroom, Criken leaned against the wall, arms crossed over his chest, a satisfied grin on his face. He had been waiting for Charborg-chan to return to Twitch High. And now that he was back, Criken had no intention of letting him slip away again.

After all, an alpha always protects what's his.

Arghhh!!! This is super cringe!! Please don't make fun of me!!
