A cool grin spread across my complexion as I let the final curl of hair bounce off of my heated wand. My hairstyle was beautiful, a flawless image for a flawless night.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror for several minutes, drinking in every detail of my makeup, my hair, and my jewelry.

I stared down at the necklace I was wearing, my eyes drawing to the blue goldstone that glittered just like the night sky. It brought me back to the night that Fred and I danced under the stars, and I felt another smile creep along my face.

Tonight was going to be a perfect evening, I could feel it in my bones.

I swiped some finishing lip gloss touches onto my lips daintily and pursed them together, then spritzed some of my favorite french vanilla perfume.

I felt absolutely perfect, and I knew that I looked my absolute best. I stood from the stool I had been previously on and fluffed up my dress skirt. The stars on the skirt shimmered and shone with every bit of reflection of light, and the dark blue top hugged my waist and my bust perfectly.

"Oh my Merlin," Ophelia walked into the room with a slacked jaw. "Willow, you're going to pull every single man at Hogwarts with that dress."

"Oh, you think I look good?" I smiled softly and twirled, then I realized that she had her dress on, and it was bewitching. Ophelia's smile lit up immediately as she twirled as well, showing off her outfit.

It was a long, flowing light pink dress that hugged her waist tight and had a sparkly bodice that accentuated her golden necklace which sported a beautiful jeweled rose. She had on white heels with a short, chunky heel, and her hair was curled just slightly.

"You look amazing, Ophelia," I squealed and the two of us began jumping excitedly and hugging.

"You look amazing! I can't believe it's finally happening," she clapped her hands together, a grin so wide growing on her face that I thought it was going to go past her face and touch the ceiling.

"We're meeting the boys in a few minutes, how are you feeling?" I asked, grasping Ophelia's hands in mine.

"A nervous wreck, but it'll be worth it," she whispered, her hands clasping tightly onto mine for any sort of comfort. I clasped back, just as nervous.

"George will fall in love all over again," I smiled softly, and she laughed and looked down.

"So will Fred," she whispered, and my heart stopped in my chest. Love?

"R-really?"

"With the way he looks at you, it's bound to be. I don't think it's anything less than love."

My chest softened at my best friend's reassurance, and I grabbed her into one last tight hug, to which she reciprocated with immense gratitude.

"Let's go?" she asked, offering her arm.

"Let's go," I smiled to her, wrapping my arm around hers.

We made our way down the stairs from the girls dormitory, our heels clinking with every cobble step we descended. After a few steps around the wall, we finally came into view of our two redhead boys.

And then, the entire universe seemed to disappear. The only thing I could sense, or see, or want was right in front of me, and everything else seemed insignificant right in that moment.

I stared down at Fred Weasley and his beautifully ruffled hair, his sparkling eyes, and his captivating smile. He stared up at me like he had just seen one of the seven wonders of the world, his gaze never peeling away from me.
