“F*ck, it hurts. I heard from Karman that you lost all of your magical powers. Isn’t that a lie?”

The clouds covering the moon slowly moved away, and a brilliant ray of light entered the bedroom. The fog-like darkness has cleared to some extent.

The shadow that was finally revealed was closer to that of a person than before. Karman also said this before, and she wonders if they can change their appearance in an instant like that.

Soon, the sound of footsteps was heard. Judith saw two feet walking out of the darkness.

As the slowly approaching devil revealed himself more clearly, Judith’s breathing became heavier. She doesn’t know whether it’s her fingertips or her heart that’s shaking.

“Scared?”

Derrick asked, noticing her heartbeat beating faster than usual. Judith pursed her lower lip and nodded faintly. She was afraid that if she showed a big reaction here, the same unpleasant attack from before would happen again.

He clicked his tongue briefly to comfort her, who was completely pale and frightened. However, anger was boiling inside.

“Don’t come any closer. Can’t you see she’s scared?”

The thing that came close to her stopped at the words he muttered.

Judith’s eyes moved upwards, following the long seal. The demon, who had completely transformed into a human, had light brown hair and the same red eyes as Derrick. The moment their eyes met, the devil gently folded the corners of his eyes and smiled.

All of Judith’s nerves froze as if the greeting was not welcoming at all.

“Why did you come?”

“It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other, but you’re not even saying you’re glad to meet me?”

“You have to do something that will make me happy.”

Derrick threatened with a grim expression that it wouldn’t be surprising if he started swearing right away.

In response to his threat, the devil slightly raised both hands and waved them as if he were surrendering. Judith realized that this was a sign that he would not do anything to her anymore. Nevertheless, her startled heart couldn’t easily find its rhythm.

Derrick looked irritated when he refused to leave him, like a kangaroo baby. It was not his annoyance with Judith, but his annoyance with the devil who had brought her into this withdrawn state.

To calm Judith down, Derrick decided to use a last resort.

“Let’s tie your hands.”

“Oh, I don’t like that.”

He raised his eyes fiercely at Lucas, who answered without speaking twice.

At his high-handed command, the devil in the dark grunted and stretched out his hands forward. Judith, seeing the unexpectedly obedient attitude, realized that the two people were not hostile. On the contrary, although the devil was arrogant, he was following Derrick’s words anyway.

Derrick snapped his fingers, and a bright light appeared in the air and wrapped around the devil’s wrist. Judith was a little relieved when he bound the devil.

“What on earth is this..?”

As soon as Judith regained her senses, her head and body started to tingle. Her head was sore from the headache that haunted her all the time, and her body was hit here and there as she struggled to escape that demon.
