It's time period of 1850's. Females and ger boys doesn't have value in society and even family. But some family valued females also.

The gender which used to suffer a lot were ger males because of their physical features. It's very rare to be a ger male.

Dowry is common in every family. Some families doesn't show mercy on their daughter in laws. They force them to give dowry.

Name : Lan Wangji / Lan Zhan
Age : 25
He is works in a clothing/ garments textile industry. Lan Wangji's father is the owner of that industry. Lan Wangji's work is to export the clothes to other neighbouring region.
Lan Wangji is cold. He doesn't show his emotions. He loves his mother a lot.

Lan Wangji's father is Lan Qingheng-jun. His mother is Lan Yi. Lan Wangji have five siblings. Lan Xichen (male), Lan Xu (male), Lan shi(female) are older then him. They all are married. Now it's turn of Lan Wangji's marriage.

Lan Xichen has one son about eight years old and one daughter of six years old. His wife is seven months pregnant but still she used to do household work. Lan Yi doesn't like Lan Xichen's daughter. She even doesn't try to talk to her.

Lan Xu has one seven years old son and other three years old son. He has a daughter also but she died after two days of taking birth.

Lan Xichen's wife and Lan Xu's wife are sisters.

Lan Wangji's younger siblings are Lan Sizhui(male) and Lan Xia(female). They both are still unmarried.

Lan Yi is most badass character in Lan family. She is dominant lady but she always has to follow the order of Lan Qingheng-jun. She become weak in front of him. She doesn't leave a chance to taunt on her daughter in laws. She also force them to tell their parents to send money to Lan family as dowry.
