CHAPTER THREE: GOODBYE CHINA, HELLO JAPAN

"Finally," Dick says as he boards off the private plane he was in to Japan. "It felt like we were flying forever."

"It has only been a little over 3 hours," Alfred states as he walks behind Dick with his suitcase and the cage containing Haley.

"Little over 3 hours too long," Dick whines as he grabs Haley's cage. "I still don't see why Bruce couldn't come with us."

"Master Bruce would have wanted nothing more," Alfred assures him as they walk to the car they were leaving the airport in. "But his occupation as the head of Wayne Enterprises requires much of his time."

"Whatever," Dick says as he opens the door to the back and enters with Haley's cage. "So how long are you staying with me in Japan?"

"Only for a week," Alfred says as he puts Dicks suitcase in the trunk of the car. "My main job while I'm here is to get you to your new apartment and help settle you in until it's time for me to leave."

"Well that's a relief," Dick says as he gets in the car.

Meanwhile, back on the private plane they took to Japan. One of the pilots is talking on the phone with a mysterious contact. "Yes sir, they arrived in Japan," the pilot tells his superior.

Change to the mysterious contacts point of view."Excellent," the mysterious man in the shadows says as he looks out the window. "Prepare my men for my arrival tomorrow evening."

"As you wish sir," the pilot obeys his orders. "Do wish to have them followed?"

"No," the mysterious man says. "For now let them be until I arrive."

"Understood sir," the pilot obeys as he hangs up on the phone. The mysterious figure then walks over to his window and looks outside.

"Finally," the mysterious man says as he looks on through the window. "I will have my revenge." He snarls as he crushes his phone in his hand.

Cut back to Dick's point of view with Alfred stopping the car. "Are we there yet?"

"Yes, master Dick," Alfred says with an annoyed expression on his face. "After half an hour of you asking me the same question, we are finally here." Alfred then pulls up on the drive way.

"Yes," Dick then jumps out the car and runs to the doorstep with Haley's cage.

(A/N): I'm not going to go into detail on what his apartment looks like, just know that it's big enough to accommodate up to 12 people. I mean, with all the connections that Bruce Wayne has in this world, which I will explain in a future part, he would never let his adopted son live in a small crappie shack.

Dick opens the door and sits Haley's cage down to let her out. "This place is huge!" Dick yells as he sees Haley run around pretty energetically for a three-legged puppy.

"Indeed," Alfred says as he walks in with all of his and Dick's belongings. "It can accommodate up to 12 people."

"Is this an apartment or motel," Dick says as he runs into the living room and checks out the huge tv. "Either way I'm gonna love it here."

"I'm sure you will," Alfred says sarcastically as he sits his and Dicks things in the kitchen. "Now before you go crazy from the thought of living the life, we need to discuss a few things."

"Okay," is all Dicks says as he walks to Alfred to hear what he has to say.

"Number one, your bedroom is on the third floor to your right. Number two, your bed can transform into a computer by pressing the button under the lamp on your nightstand. Number 3, the emergency credit card for you to use while in Japan is also in your bedroom in a yellow envelope on your bed. I'm confident you already know how much is on it. Number 4, there is an arsenal of weapons and gadgets behind the wall next to your bed that will open up when you activate your computer. Finally number 5, there is a motorcycle in the garage if you ever need a source for transportation."

"Damn, y'all went all out didn't you," Dick says as he scratches the top of his head.

"Indeed," Alfred says as he turns around and heads upstairs. "Now after you made yourself at home, be sure to get a good nights rest. You will be enrolling into Hanzo Academy tomorrow."

"Alright," Dick says as he grabs his stuff and heads upstairs.

(A/N) KO for another chapter. Tomorrow at around 8:00 pm I'll publish chapter 4 so be ready. Looks like Dick is more than ready to stay at Japan. And it would also seem that a mysterious figure knows Dick is in Japan and not in China and is preparing to leave. Is this mysterious figure the same one from Dicks dream or someone new. We'll have to wait and see, but for now stay tuned for chapter 4.
