**The First Night**

When the clock struck ten in the evening, Alex began his first night shift as a night watchman in the library. Everything seemed quiet at first, but it quickly became clear that the night in the library was not as it seemed.

**10:15 PM - The Phone Rings**
Fifteen minutes into his shift, the phone in Office 6 rang. Alex picked up the receiver as instructed, but he heard a mysterious voice threatening him if he didn't open the door. Feeling anxious, Alex noted in his journal: "The phone rang, and I heard a threat from a mysterious voice." He remembered that he should not talk on the phone, so he hung up and returned to his duties.

**11:00 PM - The Lights Suddenly Go Out**
An hour later, the lights went out suddenly, causing Alex to feel a surge of fear. Quickly, he took out his flashlight and illuminated the area. He wrote in his journal: "The lights went out; I used the flashlight." He continued his work while rechecking the rules to ensure he was following them correctly.

**12:15 AM - Mysterious Knocking Sound**
An hour and fifteen minutes into his shift, Alex heard a knock on the door. He asked for the password but received no answer. Returning to his desk, he noticed that the door had opened by itself. He wrote: "There was a knock on the door, I didn't hear the password, and the door opened by itself." He carefully closed the door afterward.

**1:00 AM - Unusual Calm**
At 1:00 AM, nothing unusual happened. The library was quiet, and everything seemed normal. He noted: "Unusual calm, nothing happened."

**1:30 AM - The Mysterious Singing Sound**
At 1:30 AM, Alex started hearing a faint singing sound. He tried to locate the source of the sound but couldn't find it. He noted: "Heard faint singing, avoided approaching it." He reviewed the rules to ensure he acted correctly.

**2:45 AM - Face Appears at the Window**
At 2:45 AM, while Alex was using the computer, he saw a disturbing face through the window of his office. The face vanished when he tried to focus on it. He wrote: "Saw a face through the window, closed it afterward." He turned his back to the window and continued working.

**3:00 AM - Calm Again**
At 3:00 AM, nothing unusual happened. The library remained quiet, with no signs of anything out of the ordinary. He noted: "Calm again, nothing strange."

**3:15 AM - The Window Opens**
At 3:15 AM, the office window suddenly opened due to a cold draft. Alex closed the window and noted: "The window opened suddenly; I closed it immediately." The library felt unnaturally cold.

**4:00 AM - Sudden Temperature Drop**
At 4:00 AM, the library experienced a sharp drop in temperature. He wrote in his journal: "Felt extreme cold, lights flickering between bright and dark." He decided to continue working, wrapped in a light blanket and holding his flashlight.

**4:45 AM - Footsteps in the Upper Floor**
At 4:45 AM, Alex heard faint footsteps coming from the upper floor. He went up to check but found nothing but silence. He noted: "Heard footsteps in the upper floor, found no one."

**5:30 AM - The Mysterious Cleaning Person**
Around 5:30 AM, Alex saw someone in a cleaning uniform walking through the library corridors. When he shone his flashlight on the person, they disappeared. He wrote: "Saw someone in a cleaning uniform, disappeared when I shone the light on them."

**6:00 AM - A Message Appears on the Computer**
Before the end of his shift, at 6:00 AM, a mysterious message appeared on the computer screen saying: "The rules are not all they seem." Alex was startled and noted: "A mysterious message appeared on the computer, couldn't understand its meaning."

**7:00 AM - Strange Dream**
While trying to sleep at home after his shift, Alex had a strange dream. He saw himself in the library office, where Samuel stood behind him with a stern face. Samuel shouted at him: "Don't think you can stand up to me, you need to run!" Alex awoke from the dream in fear and wrote in his journal: "Dreamed that Samuel was threatening me and telling me to run. Felt scared, but couldn't understand the meaning of the dream."

After his shift, Alex returned home feeling exhausted and anxious. He decided to look up more information about his job at the library. Sitting at his computer, he searched online but found little detailed information about his role as a night watchman at this library. The available information was sparse and ambiguous, adding to his anxiety and confusion.

The next morning, Alex decided to call his manager, Samuel, to discuss the events he experienced. Alex detailed everything that had happened, from the mysterious phone calls to the message on the computer. Samuel responded calmly, "Everything you've experienced is part of the job; follow the rules, and you'll be fine. It's all normal." Samuel then added more seriously, "I know you need the money for your studies, so you must continue working. Things will get easier with time."

Alex felt even more tense but was determined to continue with his job, understanding that staying in this job might be essential for achieving his educational goals. He reviewed his journal notes, pondering the meaning of what he had experienced that night and what challenges the next night might bring.
