No one's pov

The purple haired girl looked at the result only to see the usual.

Rank            Name

 1                  Lim Yuri

Rank one was something we call piece of cake for her. She was born to be rank one. The campus of SNU started getting empty, this was their last working day before summer break and plans were already made.

Yuri's plans were never made by Yuri. In breaks she just join random academy to enhance her hidden talents as wished by her mother. Studying medicine was never on her wish list but she couldn't disappoint her mother so she decorated herself as a little trophy for her mother to boast about in front of her friends.

She didn't mind that but she did mind getting treated as a nobody. Her elder sister Lim Yuna, a well-known lawyer stole all the spot light from her. Her cousins being extremely talented and successful made her the least loved child in the household.

But this time she wanted a break. A break from being a décor piece and live like a human. She opened her phone and saw few missed calls from her mom. She ignored it and saw few texts of her mom asking her to trying to send her to random academy again.

She sighed and entered the library, there were just one or two students excluding the librarian.

"Yo!" the librarian greeted her. The librarian wasn't a typical one with thick glasses asking everyone to shut up. He was rather a friendly one, Yeonjun was his name. He adored Yuri like his own daughter though he is twenty-nine or some.

"Is she asking you to join another academy?" Yeonjun asked understanding the younger's facial expressions. She nodded making the older sigh. "You deserve a break sweet heart." He patted her head; he always tried to give Yuri the brotherly feeling. He was a single child and Yuri, even though she had an elder sibling she was treated as an extra member in her family.

"I will go to Jeju." Yuri declared as yeonjun smiled. "Your hometown?" she nodded. "I have a cousin there; I'll spend some time there and try to regain my peace." She chuckled at herself. "All the best!" Yeonjun said handing her few candies. She smiled at the older.

At Jeju

Yuri's pov

I tried to search for my dear brother among the crowd at airport. This dear brother of mine is an accountant. He shifted from Seoul three years ago when he lost his girlfriend in a car accident.

He was someone or the only cousin I could heavily rely on, five years older than me but I would rather die than calling him oppa. God had mercy to send him as my cousin.

"BOO!" I flinched at the voice. "Seriously Hee?" this guy will never change. Just then he engulfed me into a tight hug. "I missed you so much bae!" also did I mention he always calls me with cheesy names?

"I didn't! Let go otherwise I will die." He sighed and pulled out. "You are still same. No PDA." He laughed and ruffled my hair. "You dyed your hair?"

"Hmm"

"You low-key look like a gangster."

He said pointing at my tattoos and piercings. Great. I glared at him.

"Well there is a problem. My house is under renovation and I am staying at my male friend's place. So I don't know if I could find you any place to stay."

What a great start.

Time skip

TW: Mention of smoking.

I waited for my dear cousin to finish his business while I hold his burning cigarette. I am seriously annoyed as if not finding a place to stay in Jeju wasn't enough and now this harmful smoke is getting inside my lungs.

I stood on the road waiting for the disappointment named Heesung to show up and take his property. Just then a gentleman came and took the half-used cigarette from my hand before throwing it on ground and crushing it with his slippers.

"What the hell man?" I yelled getting caught off guard. "Smoking is injurious kid! And this is no smoking zone, there is a school ahead." He spoke calmly before pointing towards a board with no smoking sign. Is it my fault now?

"Okay my bad! I did not see it." I surrendered my hands, as of I know this weirdly handsome guy wearing an apron of grandma's noodle shop won't understand my point of view. So it useless to say that, the cigar wasn't mine.

"If I see you doing this again then I got to talk to your parents." He scolded me like I was some high school student high on coloured air. He left before I could say anything to him.

My day couldn't be worse.

"Hey! Where my cigar?" I heard a familiar voice from behind, it was my dear cousin thanks to whom a handsome guy thought me as a spoilt kid and lectured me a big time.

I pointed to the ground where the corpse of his cigar was lying. "A guy came and scolded me and..." I pointed towards the same sign board. He glanced towards me and apologetically smiled. "You better treat me for this." I mumbled as he put his arm on my shoulder. 'Sure princess."

NO...Hell no... this guy just dragged me into the restaurant named 'Grandma's noodle shop.' What I remember is this is the same shop's logo which was on that guy's apron. "Can we not go anywhere else?" I asked him to which he shook his head as no. "The Grandma here cooks best noodles; she stays at the house adjacent to mine." Seems like that guy was some part timer here.

"Oh! Heesung hyung!" I heard a voice and saw a handsome guy; no it wasn't the one who lectured me. He came to us with a smile and greeted him. He confusedly looked at me. "Is she your girlfriend?" Heesung nodded; well when we are together we get that a lot. It isn't awkward because we are blood-related cousins; he is my mom's sister's son. Instead of clarifying everyone we just nod our head.

"Oh- Hi! I am Nishimura Riki also called Ni-ki. Nice to meet you." he bowed. "Oh she is one year younger than you." Heesung stated, was that necessary? Niki looked at us getting shocked. "Oh... I will bring the usual?" I was sure this guy was traumatized. "Yes..."
