"Yes." Jimin said suddenly, making Jungkook look at him with a frown on his handsome face.
"Pardon?" Jungkook said, turning off his phone and giving his undivided attention to Jimin. He was captivated by Jimin's soft features, the way his eyes sparkled under the library's soft lighting.
"Yes," Jimin repeated, his cheeks turning a delicate shade of pink as he met Jungkook's gaze. He felt a flutter in his chest, a nervous excitement that he couldn't quite explain.
"Yes, what?" Jungkook asked, still confused. He was used to Jimin's playful teasing, but this sudden seriousness had him intrigued.
"I'm saying yes to being your boyfriend," Jimin said with a wide smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise. He stared at Jimin, his boyfriend. The word felt strange, yet exhilarating. "R-really?" he stuttered, his voice barely a whisper. Jimin giggled, a light, tinkling sound that filled the quiet library.
Jungkook suddenly stood up, his chair scraping against the floor. "YES!!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the library. The sound startled the other students, who turned to look at them with a mixture of curiosity and annoyance.
Jimin gasped, his hand flying to his mouth. "Jungkook, stop!" he scolded, feeling a blush creep up his neck as he realized everyone was staring.
But Jungkook didn't listen. He just looked down at Jimin, his eyes shining with happiness. "I don't care, you're my boyfriend now!" he said loudly, his voice filled with a joy that was infectious.
The librarian, a stern woman with a tight bun, appeared at the entrance, her expression disapproving. "Out!" she barked, her voice leaving no room for argument.
Jungkook and Jimin exchanged a sheepish look before gathering their belongings and heading outside.

After two weeks
The library was filled with the usual hum of activity. Jungkook sat at a table, his math book open in front of him, his brow furrowed in concentration. He was struggling with the equations, his mind filled with a jumble of numbers and formulas.
"Can you help me with these? I don't know how to do this," Jungkook said, his voice laced with frustration. He looked up at Jimin, who was engrossed in a book of poetry.
Jimin closed his book and moved his chair closer to Jungkook's. "Where?" he asked, his voice soft and reassuring.
"Here," Jungkook pointed to the unanswered problems.
Jimin scanned the problems, his mind quickly working through the solutions. He was a top student, after all, and math came naturally to him. "Lemme try," he said, gently taking the book from Jungkook's table.
Jungkook's smile widened. "Thank you, baby!" he said, leaning over and pecking Jimin's cheek.
The other students in the library watched the exchange with a mixture of amusement and envy.

.Their classroom was empty now, the last of the students having gone home. Jimin sat at his usual table, waiting for Jungkook. He had been waiting for fifteen minutes, and he was starting to worry.
"How's being the boyfriend of almighty Jungkook for almost a month?" Taehyung asked, settling down beside Jimin's chair.
Jimin smiled at his friend, a genuine smile that reached his eyes. "I'm happy, of course."
Taehyung rolled his eyes, knowing that Jimin was holding back. He knew how much Jimin cared for Jungkook, how he had been crushing on him for years.
"We saw him at the football field," Nayeon said, adjusting her newly manicured fingernails. "He was training."
