THE MASSACRE

GONE
As Tessa and I were arriving at the gala area, I stopped to think about this whole ordeal. “Tessa, are you sure this is a good idea?” I asked the troubled teen. “J, I promise after we defeat Cyn, we will go back to how things were; you, me, N, and V hanging out together,” Tessa said.
“Why do you always care for those two? V hasn't been operating ever since Cyn arrived, and N has been acting more weirder and stupid than usual; what do you see in them?” I asked. “It's complicated.” She replied.
“Tessa, we're about to face off against an Eldritch being. We shouldn't be keeping secrets!” “You all are the only family I have; my parents won't even let me utter a word, and even when I don't, I get punished by being CHAINED UP to my BEDROOM!” she said while I saw tears run down her face. “You all mean everything to me,” Tessa said. “I’m- Sorry boss, let’s continue with the mission-” Before I was able to finish my sentence, Tessa held my hand “J, I need you to promise something. Don't take orders from anyone else; you write your path; it doesn't matter the mistakes, for my sake at least.” She said. I nonetheless kept these words close to my heart or whatever robots have. We quickly rushed to the gala room. Once we opened the door, we saw Cyn sitting on a globe while the residents and guests stood there dumbfounded. Then nothing. Absolutely Nothing.

REBOOT
“REBOOTING J-10X111001, REBOOTING COMPLETED, LOADING JCJENSON OPERATING SYSTEM. . . . SYSTEM CORRUPTED UNKNOWN ENTITY FOUND WIPING VIRUS. . . WIPING FAILED FAILSAFE INITIATED. . . COMPLETED. WAKE UP, NERD, WE HAVE WORK TO DO.” I quickly jumped up, frightened; being rebooted for the first time feels like waking up in a new body. Unable to breathe, move, or feel anything. Before I could even try to pick myself back up there I saw it. The whole gala area was destroyed and all I see is Tessa staring Into the moon. “Tessa, what happened? Where's all the humans- before I could finish my sentence I heard a small giggle. That small giggle gradually got louder. I slowly backed away before realizing the door was locked shut. Then it spoke to me. “Thanks for the new body, big sister J. The old one felt SQUIRMISH.” I was shocked as I saw the blood running down of what used to be a human body, making a puddle. “Now we can all be a FAMILY.” As the creature walks towards me I can hear the crunching of the bones in each step as I try my best to open the door. “What's wrong Big Sister?” As panicking I yelled out to the creature. “PLEASE STOP!” The room went quiet, all I could hear was the wind from the outside. As I finally was able to get the door open, however, I felt a whisper down my neck. “Don't you want to play with Me?” I quickly sprinted out of the gala room into one of the hallways. Slowly following behind me was the creature. “That can't be Tessa, it can't be,” I muttered to myself, I need to find V and N.

HIDE AND SEEK
Ever since I saw her, the way she acts, the way she moves, the way she speaks, makes me nervous. As I made it to the library area, I tried to get to the basement, but before I was able to, I saw Tessa. “N! V! Let me in!”
I see V and N slowly open the hatch door to greet the teen. “Tessa?” N said as helping V climb out of the hatch. "We need to get out of here. Cyn has turned into some creature, and I've lost J!” I quickly stepped out to meet the trio. “ I'm fine, boss; what happened in the gala?” I asked.
“You wouldn't wake up, then Cyn turned into some weird robot-human hybrid!” Tessa said. “ V and N are you two alright?” I asked. Both nod their heads in agreement. “Alright then, we need to get out of here fast; if we go through the dump this way, we can get out,” I said. “Sounds like a plan J- “Before Tessa could finish her sentence, I heard that voice. “BIG SISTER J, I thought you loved playing hide and seek?” I quickly grabbed V and N by the arms and told Tessa to run. “ I can't,” Tessa said while pointing the sword at the creature, standing in place frightened for her life. I told the other two to run to the junkyard as I stayed by Tessa's side.
“Tessa, can you run?” I asked her. “ I-I can't,” she said. “Tessa give me the sword,” I asked her calmly. She didn't say a word. “Tessa, I can protect you give me the sword.” She remained quiet as a mouse. As I tried to grab the sword out of Tessa's hand, My hand phased through her.
I stand there confused and in horror as what I thought was Tessa disappears right in front of me, and as the creature continues to approach me. “ I found you, big sister J, such a fun game, right?” Now it's your turn to find me.” As the creature stood there grinning, I could feel the ground underneath me start to shake, with the last word to be utter by the creature. “Find me,” She said as she threw me out of the mansion and into the junkyard.

GRIEVING
After being thrown out I could hear V and N desperately trying to get me back up. “ J are you alright?” V asked helping me to sit up straight. “ I'm fine, just-” Before I could finish my sentence the ground started to shake.
“oh no” Said N, looking up in the sky. As the ground continued to shake, “Wait where's Tessa?” N yelled in confusion. “Tessa is-” I paused for a moment. “She's gone,” I said as falling to the ground again. “That creature, Cyn, killed her; I couldn't save her. “ I yelled as the rain dripped down from my visor. “MY ONE JOB and I couldn't even do that!” I screamed as loud as the ground shook, making crows fly away in fear. As the ground shook for a last time, everything went dark, and as I looked up, I saw the mansion and, in it, Cyn taking off, giggling, cackling like it was some sort of game for her. Echoing throughout the sky, the last thing I heard from Cyn was. “Let the games begin big sister”. Before the Mansion and everything with it flew out of orbit, all of the memories of that place were gone in an instant. “What just happened?!” Said V while holding her hands together. “It's gone, it's all gone,” N said as I heard sirens in the distance.
