Noah joined you in economy class. You're sitting on his lap and read a book borrowed from him. Since Duncan came back in the game, there's something different in the air, and Tyler looks like he's hiding something. Courtney won't stop coming and looking at you and Noah. It ends up getting on your nerves.

"What can I do for you, Courtney?" You ask the brunette.

"Nothing special."

"Then why do you keep coming to watch on us? With all due respect, it's getting annoying."

"Don't forget that your little boyfriend is on our team, now! I don't want him to reveal our strategies to you."

Noah look at her, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah because arguing with each other all the time is a really good strategy."

"Duncan, you're not going to defend me?"

The delinquent look at Courtney. "The guy is not wrong. All you do is bickering all the time. Plus, they're reading in silence since he joined us, they didn't even said anything to each other."

"You defend them over ME? But Duncan..."

Tyler look panicked when Duncan send him a glance. Something happened. The brunette go back to first class, leaving an awkward silence behind them.

"Noah?" Alejandro call your boyfriend. "Can you go somewhere else for a moment? I want to talk with my team."

"Alright... Y/N, when you're done with your little meeting, I'll be in the common area waiting for you." He kiss you and whisper in your ear. "Be careful with the eel." Then he goes away.

"Good. Now let's talk."

You raise your hand. "First, Alejandro, you should stop saying it's 'your' team. A team is the final product of everyone qualities."

"Thank you for bringing this subject on the table, Y/N, I also think it's important. For you, what is everyone strength?" He ask, smirking.

"I'll start with my friend, Owen." The blonde guy looks at you with a smile. "Owen is funny, and it's important to not be serious all the time. Then there's you, Alejandro. You're really good at pep talks and cheering, which is good for everyone's self esteem." You take a break and drink some water. "Tyler is athletic, and we need an athlete in a lot of challenges. Duncan, I don't know you but after watching the seasons, I can say that you're full of ressources in any situation." You finish your sentence and look at everyone.

"Well, that's very complete and accurate." The Latino nods in approval. "Now let's talk about you and your relationship with Noah. I hope it won't distract you from the game. We need your whole potential to win."

"And keeping me away from the challenge because I'm a girl is what you call needing my whole potential?"

Alejandro is now silent. He can't reply with anything, because he knows you're right. You turn to Duncan and his eyes are suddenly wider.

"Duncan, I want to thank you." He looks at you, clueless. "If Noah is still here, it's because you're here too, and earlier, you defended us over your own girlfriend, despite the fact that you barely know me. I respect you for that. Is the meeting over, Alejandro?"

You don't wait for his answer and quit, without turning back.
