Black Knight : Raina's Tell

part 1

Raina settler was crying ,defeated , dead that's what she felt while sitting by her grandmother's side her grandmother was dying that much she knew but why . Why was the world so cruel her grandmother appeared to be alsleep on her own couch because she was asleep not dead yet . But she was dying Raina clenched her hands and started to cry sitting close to her best friend her mother had died during a car crash . Her dad was always on business trips never home and when he was he barely spoke to her because just looking at Raina reminded him of what he lost .

But she always had her grandmother they would play cards together even if she wasn't very good her grandmother was always there for her smiling and now . She was gone too Raina should have prepared herself for this but she didn't . She felt awful because all she had was her dad who wouldn't come back until the end of summer . What now she asked herself nobody answered as usual  " why are you crying child " her grandmother croaked Raina looked up  " don't waste your strength " she said her grandmother smiled  "  why child should I worry I've had  a good life " she said .

And she takes off her pendant the one she never took off  " stupid thing never worked for me but maybe " she says laughing slightly  it had a tiny sword on the end on edge was black the other white  and she placed it around her  neck   " don't cry child believe in the magic " she said smiling at her and then she sat back on her pillow closing her eyes  she couldn't believe this meddling with the pendant now around her neck but then she sat up   " grandma " she said shaking her grandmother but her grandmother didn't wake .

Raina plopped down her head in her hands this wasn't fair  she was crying again now her face red and puffy . She had nobody the realization hit her hard like a slap to the face her grandmother's hand was still warm when she touched it suddenly a large spark went through her body . Like when you touch something metal and it shocks you but this was way bigger . Her body felt like it was on fire has closed her eyes

This must be affect of crying so hard she thought but something inside her made her feel that wasn't the case .suddenly her knees felt hard instead of soft because she was on carpet it should feel soft . She opened her eyes and shook her head this was insane not real she was on a dusty gravelly hill . She pinched her self this wasn't real but was shocked to find the same hill underneath her boots what happened where was she . She looked towards the blue sky confused in the distance was a small town but no skyscrapers or restaurants .

More importantly what time was she in did she time travel because there were no cars just horses close horses she could hear them all the way up here that's when she turned around as soon as a dark black horse that glitters in the sunlight slammed into her
