Hello,

My name is Code. I am 27 years old, or at least I was. I got turned into a glitch by my loving boyfriend, Oku. You might say it is bad to date someone who made me a virus that couldn't touch anything but him, giving me a lot of trauma. But it's fine! He loves me and I love him...

... Right?

I was sitting on the couch in our shared household, wearing only a scarf because my creator had no inspiration for my clothing. Why would she? I'm just a stylized stickman. But anyhow, my loving boyfriend came back from his "work". He put our car keys on the key rack. He never told me what he did for work, but that's alright! It's okay to hide things from your lovers, I guess. I look over to him with a smile on my face. "Hey, Oku! How was work?" Oku looked back at me with a tired and annoyed look. "Good, I guess," he replied, immediately pulling out a cigarette and lighting it up before inhaling the smoke and forcing the smoke out from his nose. He never had time for me, only time for his work. Whatever his job was. "You seem upset... Would you like a drink-"

"I'M FINE!" Oku suddenly yelled, making me flinch as he stomped off to our shared room in anger. He always did this, but that's alright. I'm used to it. But I'm starting to get tired of it.

I sigh as I just listen to the bedroom door slam shut.

We are fine. We love each other. He is just having a bad day. I stretch and slowly get up from the couch and walk up the stairs to our shared bedroom. Hesitating at first before I take a deep breath and knock at the wooden door... there is no response from Oku whatsoever. "Honey?" I call out to him. "Please, let's just talk." An annoyed sigh comes from the other side.

"I have work to do right now, I'm busy. I can't right now." Oku answered as I heard him opening his laptop.

I linger in front of the door for a few more seconds, feeling the weight of the spoken words hanging heavy in the air, before finally turning away and descending the stairs to the solitude of the living room.

I guess we aren't as fine as I thought. Feeling the need for a quick break, I walked toward the front door of our shared house and grabbed the car keys Oku had left on the key rack before opening the door. As I stood at the threshold, I called out, "OKU, I'M GOING TO A CAFE FOR A LITTLE WHILE. WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME WITH ME?" Only to be met with disappointing silence. I sighed before stepping outside. I closed the door, walked to our car, unlocked it, opened the door, and settled inside before closing it behind me. I took a moment to adjust the seat and mirrors, started the engine, and slowly pulled out of the driveway, heading toward the nearby café that I often frequented.

~AN: time skip because I am too tired to describe how Code drove there.~

As I pulled into the café's parking lot, I took a moment to inhale deeply before stepping out of the car. The door clicked shut behind me as I made my way towards the entrance, where the inviting scent of freshly baked pastries and brewing coffee wrapped around me, filling me with a comforting sense of warmth and anticipation. I make my way to the counter and smile at the Cashier. "Hello! Can I have a frappuccino?" The Cashier nods.

"Of course! Anything else, sir?"

"Could you add some caramel drizzle to my frappuccino?"

"Alright, That'll be $3.65."

"Mhm."
I reached for my wallet, which was conveniently stuffed inside my scarf, before reaching into my wallet, and pulling out a few bills. After a quick check, I handed over a five-dollar bill. The cashier took the money and handed me the change. They placed the change on the counter—a single coin and thirty-five cents in bills. "Thanks! I'll have your frappuccino ready in just a moment."

As the cashier prepares my drink, I gratefully murmur, "Thank you." Suddenly, I feel a hand on my shoulder and turn to find one of my friends from a party standing beside me.

"Rachel!"

"Code! Long time no see? How's Oku?"

" Ah.. busy as always. I'm starting to feel like he's purposefully doing this."

"Have you talked to him about it?"

"I can't, he's always busy with work every time I try."

"You really should try again sometime... I feel like it's been days since you guys have talked. or done anything together."

Unfortunately, Rachel was right. I can't remember the last time Oku and I went on a date, hung out, or had a heart-to-heart conversation about our feelings. It feels like the only time we interacted was when Oku was feeling horny.

"Yeah, you're right. I should try to confront him about it. Thank you, Rachel."

"No problem! It's what friends are for."

The Cashier gave me my frappuccino.

"Thank you," I murmured, the Cashier nodded in response.

"I should be going now, thanks again!"

"No worries!" Rachel responded reassuringly, flashing a gentle smile in my direction. Returning the smile, I exited the store and strolled toward the parking lot. After unlocking my car, I opened the door and settled inside before starting the car.

~AN: The end! Also, I may not finish this fic cuz of school and mostly because of no motivation. So don't hold your breath for more chapters LOL~
