Our days on the Island were like a slice of heaven, a dream I wished would never hit the snooze button. There were times I could swear Jiah was onto me, like she had a secret decoder ring for my thoughts. The way she smiled at me was different, and her hugs felt like she was the one protecting me instead of the other way around. I was terrified to ask her if she knew; what if I was just overthinking it? what if I was just being paranoid? What if she turned into a detective and started interrogating me? So, I buried those worries deep down, like a treasure I didn't want to find. This blissful moment made all my struggles feel like a distant memory, and I'd jump back into it faster than you can say "anime marathon." Whenever her eyes landed on my scars, I could see her fighting back tears. So, I playfully mouthed, "Don't worry, I'm the strongest," and winked, whisking her back to our epic anime binge sessions where she dubbed me her "own anime hero."

I had a premonition that Sean's arrival was imminent, and we would finally be able to depart from this island and start a new life in a safe place we had always envisioned. One beautiful day, as we were sitting by the shore admiring the waves, I noticed a boat approaching. My heart filled with excitement as I hurried toward the water. I was eager to embrace Sean, but instead of a warm hug, I was caught off guard by a surprising slap that left me momentarily stunned. I saw tears in Sean's eyes before he enveloped me in a tight hug. "You lied," he exclaimed, "You were supposed to disappear, not get caught!" He began to explain how Kyle had revealed everything, but I signaled for him to stop, as I had not conveyed the complete truth to Jiah—only fragments, and I intended to keep it that way.

When I brought Sean to the cottage to meet Jiah, he was left speechless. With a playful wink, he remarked, "Now I see why this fool fell for you." It was heartwarming to witness their instant connection as they conversed, and Sean shared some of my embarrassing stories from the orphanage. Finally, the moment I had been waiting for arrived—Sean produced the passports and informed us that he had started a new life in Seychelles, inviting us to join him. "It's nothing extravagant," he said, "but it's peaceful." I exchanged a glance with Jiah, and she smiled, saying she would go wherever I went, planting a sweet kiss on my lips that caused me to blush in front of Sean. Then, in a joyous moment, Sean joined us for a big group hug, and it felt like everything was falling into place.

I was overwhelmed with joy as Sean and Jiah playfully teased me, and I couldn't hold back the happy tears! Having the two people I cherish most right by my side filled my heart with warmth, and the best part was knowing we were safe and on the brink of living the life we had always dreamed of. Life truly felt beautiful in that moment!

As I looked at Sean, his eyes sparkling with mischief, and Jiah, her smile radiant and infectious, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. We had fought hard to get to this point, and now, it was as if all the pieces were falling into place. The possibilities stretched out before us like an open road, and I couldn't wait to see where it would lead us next. Each moment was a treasure, and I knew that as long as we were together, we could face anything that came our way.
