Before Cousins

                                                                    C H A P T E R   1

As the breeze ran through her hair Via sighed flipping the page of her book when suddenly a new force made the hammock sway harder side to side.

"Veeee! I have a proposition for you," Exclaimed Jeremiah Fisher Via's life long best friend.

"I'm not going on a date with Jake just so you can talk to his sister." Via sternly replied.

Jeremiah was the golden retriever to her black cat he was always laughing and being the life of the party,

 where as Via liked to keep to herself and at a party could be seen in the corner with a beer making polite conversation awkwardly when people came up to her.

"Not what I was gonna say Vee but we will discuss later because you are getting a one in a million chance to come to cousins with me this year-"

"No Fucking way are you actually serious like dead serious!" 

Via had always wanted to come to cousins after hearing about the amazing things that the fishers and Conklins would get up to. 

She wanted to meet Steven the funny quick witted guy and Isabel the cute little sister that Jeremiah obviously had a crush on whether he wanted to admit it or not.

"Yes I am serious so get your fat ass up and start packing," 

"Ok ok I'm coming!" Via laughed launching herself out the hammock and running up to her room Jeremiah waiting outside.

After Via had packed up She met the Jeremiah outside her house, as the began to walk to his place. 

Jeremiah Fishers house was a few blocks away in the nicer part of town,  the town they lived in was split up by two sides up town and down town Via was a downtown girl and lived in a 2 bedroom bungalow. 

It was quaint but homey filled to the brim with clutter resembling a charity shop at times. A stark contrast to the Fishers house in uptown where everything was polished and perfectly cleaned by maids hired by Mr Fisher, 

all but Susanna Fishers art studio. Via was one of the only people allowed in their due to her love of painting just like Susanna. 

Some times they would spend hours locked away chatting while doing what they loved, Susanna was the girl's second mother they had always had a special bond, 

Via knew she could tell Susanna anything in the world and she wouldn't judge she would just listen.

Once they were in front of the Fishers house Via started loading her luggage into the boot of the brothers jeep.

"Ok are you ready to go sweetheart?" Chimed Susanna sweetly 

"Yeah, oh and thank you thank you thank you!" 

Then the front door of the fisher house opened once more and Conrad Fisher walked up,

"Connie honey can you come help me with this please."

Groaning Conrad responded "Mom why can't Jere help you."

A hot ass groan

Wait know via bad! that's your best friends older brother ,

Yeah HOT older brother,

"Because I'm asking you besides Jeremiah's Filling in Via about what the can do in cousins-"

"Wait Via's coming to cousins with us?" Conrad suddenly exclaimed,

"Yeah I am got a problem with that?" Via tilted her her head to the side mockingly, Conrad just groaned in response.

As much as Via might've had a crush on Conrad since she was 5 and he 6 that doesn't mean she was going to become a blushing mess over, no in fact she actually quite likes making fun of him. It's just who she is as a person.

Snapping out of her thoughts Via got into the back of the cat with Jeremiah, Susanna in passenger seat and Conrad driving.

"Ok me and Vee are picking the music you are going no way near it" Jere said as he pointed at his mom."

After that Via zoned out lost in her thoughts the main one being Cousins here she comes.
