The Trip

A few days after the incident, Camden and Sasha invited them to go to California. Ezra at first said no, but after waves of 'please' and puppy eyes, he gave in. They wanted to go by car because it would be more fun, but alas Ezra said no. He was shooked because they asked him to drive them to California. Don't they know that Illinois to California is a 30 hour dive?

Even though Ezra didn't want to , he is forced to go because he got the "please,go with us" treatment,even his sisters did this to him just because they don't wanna be left alone.

They're now at the airport, waiting to board, praying that their flight won't be cancelled. But alas, it got cancelled.

"What're we gonna do know?" Kyoko asked. "Wait I guess." Darrien answered. "Be for real! The flight is delayed for 4 hours?!" Ezra complained. After what felt like a year, they finally boarded the plane.

"Finally we're in!" Camden exclaimed. " Try not to bust people's eardrum can you?" Ezra hissed "Sorry.." Camden said. Allison chuckled at the situation that happened. A few hours have passed and they're now in California.

"Where are we going to stay Ezra?" Evelynn asked. "We're going to go to a cabin in the woods." "The woods?!" Allison quivered. She wasn't a big fan of the woods much. "Yes, why? Are you scared of the woods?" Ezra questioned. Allison didn't know what to say. She was scared of the woods, but she couldn't admit that! That's so embarrassing!

NOW,THEY'RE IN THE CAR

"Hello? Earth to Allison?" Darrien said to her. Allison was suprised when he tapped on her shoulder. "You alright, Ally?" Eva asked,feeling a bit concerned for her. "I'm alright,don't worry!" Allison rubs her back nervously,thinking it's the right time to ask them something about Ezra. "Hey,uh...Eva? Can i ask you something about your brother?" Allison glanced at her,trying to find the right words to ask. "Sure,what do you wanna ask about our brother?" Eva replied,tilting her head a bit. "What's your..brother's favourite snack?" Allison asked,feeling a bit embarassed just because she asked that. "His favourite? Nachos!" Eva exclaimed,feeling enthusiastic. "Nachos? Really? He looks..well,how'd i say it?" Allison is trying to find the right words to describe him. And here comes Eva answering that question. "Hot? Yeah,that's true" Eva responded,nonchalantly without knowing that her brother is proud inside but doesn't show it. Evelynn knows when she tells her that she would be so proud but her brother is pretending to be proud.

Ezra is just driving while listening to Mitski. Darrien and Camden is just playing UNO at the back seat. Kyoko,Eva and Sasha is talking about how people keep overreacting about small things. Evelynn is just putting a blanket while watching Youtube on her phone. "Dude,it's BORING!" Darrien sighed,putting his hand on head. "Wanna go to the gas station?" Ezra questioned,waiting for an answer. "YES,PLEASE FOR GOD'S SAKE" Darrien answered. Ezra drove to the gas station and gave money to them.

Ezra is just filling up his car,a bit tired because of the trip. Darrien and the others came back from 7-Eleven,buying a lot of snacks and slurpies. "Did you overspent?" Ezra asked,glancing at him with a bit of annoyance. "We did,sorry!" Camden answered nonchalantly,doesn't care about spending Ezra's money overboard. Eva is slurpee with no thoughts about her brother looking at her,a bit pissed off because she's the reason they overspend. Evelynn stared at Ezra for a split second and realized what that means. The real reason they overspend was Eva,after all. Kyoko looks at Evelynn and looks at Ezra and knew what that means and hugged Evelynn. "Is your brother this scary?" Kyoko asked Evelynn a simple question. "Yup,that's Ezra to you.." Evelynn is praying to God that she has more time to live and not ending up in a hospital. "Why are you guys hugging eachother?" Allison asked,glanced at them nervously. "Dude,your lover over there is mad at your new sister-in-law,you know that?" Kyoko replied,sweating a bit since Ezra can get pretty terrifying when he gets angry. Allison just remembered what happened last time Ezra got mad. It's a reminder to not make Ezra go psychotic. "I got it,so...are we paying Eva's hospital bills?" Allison asked for the last time before putting her Airpods on her ears. "Yeah,i'm paying" Evelynn answered,nodding and concerned about her twin sister.

15 minutes later,they arrived at their destination. Ezra got out from his car and locked the others in them with no mercy. "HEY!" Darrien yelled from inside. Ezra glanced at him and unlocked the car so they can get out. Darrien looked at the trees and takes a deep breath. "We arrived!" Camden exclaimed,excited about this trip. "I know,right?" Sasha stretches for a bit before walking inside the cabin

Well,let's skip to dinner,shall we(Author's lazy btw)

"Who's cooking?" Eva asked,scanning the room to see who's not in the living room. "Ezra,of course!" Sasha looks at Eva,proud to be Ezra's friend. Meanwhile,Ezra is suffering from cooking and driving them here. "Out of all places you could ask me to go..California,really?" Ezra stares at them,a bit annoyed by them. "Sorry,Ez! None of us knows how to cook here! Except for you!" Darrien apologized,clearly,he's trying to change the subject. "How about not to make me riled up and ask you all to cook by yourself?" Ezra glared at Darrien,but in his mind he knows that he failed cooking. "Alright,hothead!" Camden chuckled. Allison and Kyoko sighed and waiting for dinner. Ezra is praying

NAH,I'M ALSO LAZY HERE SO..AFTER THEY EAT DINNER? i'm too lazy,i'm sorry:(

Ezra was outside,stargazing. He is an astrophile after all. He's just staring at the stars while asking himself one specific question:how will he live,knowing that he will die?. Evelynn caught a glimpse of her brother outside,walking towards him quietly. "Ezra?" Evelynn tapped on his shoulder. "Oh..Evie..what's up?" Ezra lied down on the grass,still glancing at the stars. "Why do you like stargazing?" Evelynn asked,settle down on the ground. "It's restful and cozy,that's why" Ezra replied to her question,smiling. "Whenever you're tired,you always read a book or write something in your diary. How can i be just like you?" Evelynn asked the unexpected. Ezra stared at her,a bit suprised that she asked that. "Well,dear sister..be yourself,why'd you ask me this?" Ezra asked back. "Well,i always felt insecure about myself and you're confident,i wish i could be like you." Evelynn responded. "If you feel insecure,just talk to me,i'm here,alright?" Ezra responded,chuckled quietly. Evelynn never saw her brother chuckled,giggled nor laughed. "Woah.." Evelynn is now shocked to see her brother. "Never seen me in a good mood? Well,i am now." Ezra responded. This is quite the unexpected,she never thought that she would see this rare occasion.

10 p.m.

Lights out,it's time to sleep! Darrien is taking the top bunk and Camden is pouting since he saw it first,but,he's really a slowpoke. Darrien is just laughing at Camden's face and he's just waiting for the right moment to slap Darrien in his face. Kyoko and Sasha is literally doing their daily night skincare routine before sleeping to get a clear face in the morning. Allison and Ezra is reading their favourite book next to eachother since they're sharing beds. Eva and Evelynn is playing Monopoly and Eva's winning. "You winning?" Ezra asked before glancing back at his book. "Of course! I'm the champion in the Aster siblings!" Eva proudly admitted it even though she lost to Ezra 56 times already. Evelynn just rolls her eyes and continues to play the game. Allison nudges Ezra and whispered something to his ears. "You're cute when you look at me.." Allison whispered quietly so the others can't hear them. Ezra stared at her,a bit suprised when she said that. "R-really?" Ezra responded. Allison nods and carry on with her book.

Well,let's skip to the end of the whole trip,shall we? (Yes,lazy author here)

Ezra is packing his bags,organizing his stuffs to not mess it up and puts it on the passenger seat. He's waiting for the others to get ready to leave. He's just relaxing by listening to Radiohead. Allison is also inside the car,waiting for the others. Eva is happily jumping while Evelynn is carrying their bags inside the car. Darrien,Kyoko,Camden and Sasha is putting their bag on the back and sits on their seat. "Ready?" Ezra asked,drinking coffee first before driving. "Ready!" The others exclaimed. Now it's time for a ride to home!

Btw,i'm ending this thing now,they're at their houses after 31 hours.
