Trying to be the perfect daughter

I got lost along the way.

Somewhere in the shadow of my mind

"Why are you so blind?"

It's the same old tale every day.

Held hostage by my own imperfection,

Guilt is eating me alive.

I did it again, I deceived everyone.

I am heading in the wrong direction.

As the eldest, no matter what I do

Everything is always my fault.

It's a curse I can't undo.
