Chapter 1: New friends and rivals

A teen boy has saved Kioshi's life. Who is this boy?

Kioshi: ( stands up slightly frustrated )  Yusuke, who's this brat?
Yusuke:Eish! That's harsh. Especially since he just saved your sorry little ass.
Kioshi:PFFFF! I had the situation under control.
Yusuke: So says the guy who almost got his skull crushed to smithereens. ( Sighs ) It's your new student, Toshihiro Goro. I just said that. Weren't you paying attention?
Kioshi: ( annoyed ) Of course I heard you God damnit. ( Stood up ) I thought we talked about this? I'm not interested in getting a new student.
Yusuke: I know Kioshi but it's the head mistress's command and you know that her word is absolute.
Kioshi:( frustrated ) Just give this kid to some other team. I ain't interested.
Yusuke: No can do. You know that all the other senseis are occupied with their own. The rule is three students per sensei.
Kioshi: ( gets frustrated ) But Yusuke isn't there anything you can do?
Yusuke: Sorry. No can do. You're stuck with him and that's that. If you wanna complain, tell the head mistress.
Kioshi: ( sighs ) Fine then I'll talk to the head mistress then.

( Kioshi and Goro are in a large office in front of a desk which had a lady with a long dark purple braiding over her right shoulder,  black frames

Kioshi: Head Lady Sakurako, we talked about this. I DON'T want a new student.
Head Lady: I'm not interested in hearing a word you say. ( Puts her glasses in place ) You know we are in dire need of a new student, Toshihiro here is perfect for the spot.
Kioshi: ( sighs ) Listen Head Lady... I bet  he's talented and all but...
Head Lady: Bbbbb..but nothing. ( Sighs )  Kioshi you need to take your job as a sensei seriously. You're one of the strongest releasers in our whole school and the most brilliant , so you have to pass down that brilliancy to those below.
Kioshi: But...
Head Lady: ( shouts ) I said no buts. Listen Kioshi I bet it's hard for you to move on and Tachi was someone you adored but give it a rest. I bet she would want you to move on too.
Goro: Who's Tachi?
Kioshi: None of your business kid.
Head Lady: No need to snap at him Goro. Ok, listen up. If you don't train him then I'll fire you.
Goro: You can't do that.
???: ( door slams ) Oh she can most certainly can. Do not underestimate the Head Lady.
Goro: ( turns his head around ) Butt outta this Murasaki.
Murasaki: You dare talk to me like that. Don't forget who you're talking to.
Goro: Just because you're the Head Mistress's Secretary doesn't mean you have authority over me.
Head Lady: Murasaki, come down. You always get wrapped up when I have an argument with someone.
Murasaki: But Head Lady, he doesn't have the right to raise his voice while talking to you.
Head Lady: It doesn't matter. Listen Kioshi, like I said before I'm sure it's hard to move on but maybe trying things at a new perspective might make you feel better.
Kioshi: But....
Head Lady: But nothing. Move along. This is what you're paid to do Kioshi. It's an order.
Kioshi: Yes Head Lady. ( Walks out the door with Goro. Both now walking down the hallway ) Listen here kid. I'm only training you because it's a direct order from the Head Lady, that doesn't mean I WANT to I'm only doing this because I HAVE to. Got that?
Goro: Yes.
Kioshi: Yes who?
Goro: Yes Kioshi Sensei.
Kioshi: Let's head to class. ( They arrive at the classroom )
Goro: ( takes a seat ) Why am I the only student in here?
Kioshi: The rest are training outside, others are on missions. You'll meet them soon enough.
Goro: Why am I not training with the others?
Kioshi: Hold your horses. You have to start with the basics first. Like for example, what is karma? What are karma bounds? Do you know all these things.
Goro: Of course I do... ( Thinks for a moment ) Wait, I forgot actually.
Kioshi: ( gets frustrated ) Are you for real? Ok. I'm gonna make it real short and simple for ya.
Goro: Ok.
Kioshi: Let's start by talking about karma. What is karma you ask? It's actually a special energy formed from the combination of negative and positive energy from emotions forming a new energy known as karma and users of karma are called "RELEASERS". They release techniques through the usage of karma. There are three kinds of people in this world, one born with a technique but failure to form karma, one born with karma but no technique and one who lacks both. Understand?
Goro: Yeah.
Kioshi: Ok! That's great now it's time to explain karma bounds. We know that when a person dies, their body returns to the soil and their soul crosses to the after life but have you ever wondered what happens to their mentality? Their consciousness?
Goro: Doesn't it just die along with the person?
Kioshi: WRONG! You can't tell me that when a person dies, their consciousness, something so powerful that it can affect reality, can die so easily. Here's what actually happens. What happens is that...
???: ( speaks standing at the door ) Sensei.
Kioshi: ( turns his face towards the door ) What's wrong Kage?
Kage: Kane is causing trouble again.
Kioshi: I'm on my way. ( Faces Goro ) Let's go Goro. ( All three ran outside to the training ground. And a shirtless boy with messy white hair with two strands in front of his head that form a cross, gray eyes, torns jeans and bandages wrapped around his feet and hands was wildly punching another student ) What happened?
Kage: We were training but as usual he went too far.
Kane: ( shouts excitedly ) WHY ARE YOU HOLDING BACK? COWARD!!! TAKE THIS FIGHT SERIOUSLY!!!
Kioshi: ( sighs ) What a bother. ( Shouts ) HEY! KANE! STOP IT ALREADY!
Kane: ( shouts ) STAY OUTTA THIS OLD MAN!
Kioshi: ( confused ) Old man? ( Pauses for a second and shouts ) ME!!? OLD!!? ( Kane continues punching the student and stops )
Kioshi: Thank you.
Kane: ( faces Kioshi) Sensei, you sure can be annoying sometimes ( quickly turns to Kioshi and dashes towards him at high speed in order to deliver a punch but he blocks it with the ring finger of his right arm )
Kioshi: ( sighs a breathe of relief ) That was a close one. Pff! You don't wanna make me angry kid. Stop it now or else ( does an intimidating face )
Kane: ( A little spooked ) Whatever! Let go of my fist. ( He pulls his right arm out of his hand )
Goro: ( amazed and spoke with a low voice ) Woah.
Kioshi: ( sighs ) Since we're outside anyway let's begin our training. So Goro, whi do you wanna battle?
Goro: ( surprised ) Me?
Kioshi: Yes you. Is there another Goro around here?
Goro: Hmm! ( Thought for a second ) I wanna battle... Kane.
Kane: ( laughs loudly ) What? Me? You won't last two seconds with me.
Kage: ( surprised ) (conscious thought/talking in his head: His a pretty gutsy guy. He's acting like he didn't see Kane's strength a few seconds ago. Does he even stand a chance? ) Are you sure... Goro was it? ( Goro remains silent )
Kane: Yeah! Kage's right. Why don't you run away with your tail between your legs little pup. ( Laughs loudly) You're so scared you can't even talk.
Goro: ( speaks softly ) Are you done mocking me or are you just intimidated by me?
Kane: ( gets annoyed ) What?
Goro: That's the only reason why you're mocking me. So that you can break my spirit so that I can stoop down to your level. ( Stays silent for a second ) Pitiful.
Kane: Guess what kid. ( Snaps ) YOUR OWN MOUTH JUST DUG YOUR OWN GRAVE!
Goro: Bring it on
