The Beginning - Day One

*Hina's POV*

"Really? A beach vacation?" I asked excitedly.

Kirishima grinned, "Oh yeah! It'll be so much fun! We'll have the cabin to ourselves and it's right on the water!"

Kirishima and I were hanging out in his dorm, sitting on the floor talking about summer plans. He invited me to come with him on a beach trip for a few days. Most everyone else has plans with their families, so it'll just be us. Which I don't mind. I've actually had a crush on him for a while now. Maybe something will happen on this trip.

"Oh, we're also leaving...tomorrow." He grinned nervously.

I jumped up, "Tomorrow?! What the hell Kiri, why are you just now asking me?!"

"It was a spur of the moment thing. We're only going for a few days, I can even help you pack! I'm all ready to go." He offered.

I huffed, "I'm gonna need to pack so much stuff," I glanced at the clock, which read 6:32pm, "I guess we better start now if we're leaving early."

Kirishima nodded and stood up, "Let's head to your dorm then!"

We walked to my dorm and he helped me pack a bunch of clothes and necessities.

I clapped, "Okay, I think that about does it!"

Kirishima sweat dropped, looking at all the bags, "Don't you think this is a bit overkill?"

I had five bags in total. In my defense, they're not massive bags or anything. I just packed enough clothes for a whole week; outfits for the days, nights, backups in case something got dirty, a nicer outfit in case we go to a fancier place, and swimwear. Also hygiene necessities and the sort.

I giggled, "You can never be too prepared!"

He laughed, "Alright, we'll leave at 8am. I'll come by your dorm to help you bring your bags to my car, okay?"

I smiled, "Sounds good Kiri! Goodnight!"

He waved and exited my dorm. I got into bed and went to sleep with a smile on my face, excited for this trip.

'It'll just be me and Kirishima, alone for days. This'll be fun.'

*Next Morning*

I had just finished getting ready when there was a knock at my door, "Come in!"

Kirishima opened the door and shot me a toothy grin, "Hina! You look great! Ready to go?"

I blushed and nodded, "Lead the way!"

We both grabbed my bags and I followed him to his car. As we approached the vehicle, my eyes settled on the annoyingly familiar figure standing next to it.

"Tch. Bout time you- huh? What the hell is that extra doing here?!"

I dropped my bags and looked at the angry blonde in front of me. I glared at him, then turned to Kirishima, "Wanna explain why the flaming hedgehog is here?"

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU CALL ME?!"

"I DIDNT STUTTER!" I shouted back, turning to face him, matching the glare he directed at me.

Kirishima stepped in between us, "H-hey guys...calm down..."

I crossed my arms, looking back at Kirishima with a scowl, "You said it was just gonna be the two of us!"
