Wendy chuckled softly as she listened to a blissful hum leave your lips while she brushed her fingers across your cheek and kissed your delicate skin.

She could tell the exhaustion of the last couple hours of intimacy was beginning to catch up to you.

"Are you doing okay?"

"Yeah." You said as you opened your eyes. "I'm so good."

"That you are, angel,"

You laughed together before you wrapped your arms around her neck and pulled her in for another kiss.

"So...?" She smirked. "If you're not tired, we could always-"

"I'm tired." You interrupted with a giggle. "You wore me out, baby. But it was amazing. I missed sharing moments like these with you."

She intertwined her fingers with yours again and continued to lay on top of you for just another minute.

It had been so long since you've been able to be intimate because she's been so busy and hasn't had much time to spare.

So these last couple of hours have meant the world to you both.

You cherished every touch, every kiss, and just being able to be so close to her in such a beautiful and loving way.

It was no surprise to Wendy that you were worn out.

She was too, even though it didn't show as much.

"It was good for you though, right?" You asked as you brushed your fingers across hers.

"Better than good. It was amazing." She smiled adoringly at you. "I love these moments so much; almost as much as I love you. I hope you know that."

"I do. But I feel it especially. I love you."

"I love you too."

You shared one more kiss before she laid down beside you.

Her eyes slipped shut and she continued to catch her breath as she finished coming down from the clouds entirely.

"Do you need anything?" You asked as you moved closer to her and brushed your fingers through her short hair. "You took such good care of me tonight. I can take care of you now if you'll let me."

"Darling, I'd always let you. But honestly, all I need right now are some cuddles, and that's what I know you need too."

"You know me so well." You said as you snuggled up to her.

You laid your head on her shoulder and let your heavy eyes slip shut.

"Since we both have tomorrow off, we could do this all over again if you want to." She suggested and you opened your eyes to look at her to find them sparkling,

"How could I ever say no to that?"

She hummed and held you a little tighter as your eyes closed once more.

"You're going to fall asleep on me already, aren't you?"

"I told you, baby, you wore me out."

She giggled before letting her fingers brush against your bare back ever so gently.

"That's okay. Go to sleep, angel. I've got you."

You just cracked a tired smile as you began to drift off to sleep, feeling so safe and warm in her embrace.

But more than anything, you felt so loved.

You could rest well knowing that your girlfriend felt just as loved as you now that you'd finally been able to express it physically to each other rather than just mumble it before falling asleep as soon as she got home.

And you couldn't help but look forward to experiencing it all again with her tomorrow.
