She reigned with kindness over a kingdom in peace. The Queen had a student, her daughter princess Moonrise. An alicorn endowed with wonderful magical powers.

Her daughter was born with the gift of magic.
The ancient kingdom of Equestria prospered but had several powerful enemies , including the kingdom of Crystal. These two kingdoms were often at war and the kingdom of Crystal was becoming stronger and stronger. The queen found no solution , no weapon to ensure victory. So one day princess Moonrise looked for a solution. Searching through old books , she discovered a way for her kingdom to become powerful and indestructible. Dark magie. The black magic was a very ancient magic that drew its power from darkness. Thanks to her discovery , the princess's kingdom had become the most powerful kingdom of all. She ensured their victory at all costs. But when you use black magic there is always a price to pay. And that price was the mental stability of the princess Moonrise. The princess always wanted more , the taste of power had contaminated her. She ended up losing her mind from using dark magic. And then one day , she decided to defy her mother , Queen Nova. Alicorns were supposed to be immortal but Moonrise discovered a way to circumvent the laws of the universe. She killed the queen with dark magic and became the new queen of her kingdom.

She reigned for years in a realm of fear , chaos and darkness. Until one day a unicorn heroine challenged her. This unicorn was a powerful witch.

She defeated the evil queen by imprisoning her in an enchanted pendant. The Amethyst jawel became the most cursed stone in the country. The young unicorn became the new ruler of Equestria , saved her kingdom and reigned in the light until the end of her days. For that Moonrise wouldn't hurt anyone , the witch hid the podentive somewhere in Equestria and over thousands of years the cursed podentive was lost forever.
