Ep 1   PILOT

I wake up to the sound of my alarm blaring from my phone and internally scream. Time for a new day, at a new school, in a brand new town. God I hate it.

I stopped keeping track of how many towns me and my family have lived in after the first three.

I begrudgingly get out of bed, ignoring all the scattered boxes on the floor on my way to the bathroom.

I hate new schools, I hate first days, I hate everything about them. It's not helpful that I also never seem to stay long enough to get used to anything in said school or town.

I open the bathroom door and of course Allison is already there. biologically she's not my sister, but you wouldn't be able to tell considering i have dark brown hair and look pretty similar to Allison oddly enough, but the argents also adopted me when I was a baby and i've never considered her anything less than a sister to me, It's also always a joy to explain to people how we’re the same age but not twins.

She's always been upbeat about going to new schools and this one is no different.

She's already finished doing her hair and is in the outfit I helped pick out the day before with her.

I can't help the smile that tugs at my lips when I see her, she's always been there for me no matter what and I adore her for it. “Are you close to unpacking? Cause I've only put like one box away." I ask, I would like to know if it's only me being lazy or not.

She lets out a small laugh as she puts on some blush. “I think you're actually ahead of me, I've only put some clothes away.” I let out a dramatic gasp as I clutch at my chest.  “Am I more on top of a task then Allison Argent?” I say as I grab my toothbrush and toothpaste.

She rolls her eyes at me.

“We both need to work on our unpacking skills.” she says ignoring my comment as she continues to get ready.

I can't disagree with that.

Me and Allison decided to walk to school to get a look around the area but, unfortunately we took a wrong turn and now were late on our very first day.

I can't help the building anxiety in me as I try to not think about walking into the classroom with the class already started, my thoughts get cut off as Allison's phone rings for the third time, and to no surprise it's our mother. Allison quickly shows me who it is before she picks up quickly putting it on speaker after showing me, I can't help but roll my eyes our mom always does this on our first days at a new school and today is no different.

“Mom, three calls on our first day is a little overdoing it.” she says with a small smile,  we both stop just in front of the school so we can talk to her but I can't help the urge to get in there as fast as possible to try to ease my growing anxiety, the longer we wait the more the class will go on without us which causes my stomach to churn.

“Just making sure you guys got there okay and that you guys have everything.”

Allison instantly starts digging around in her bag to prove to our mother she has everything, she becomes slightly shocked when she realizes she's missing something. “Everything except a pen. Oh my God, I didn't actually forget a pen." I muffle a laugh at her small panic as I dig through my own bag to get her one, only to realize I only have one. I shrug at her. “Sorry Ali only have one, you're gonna need to fend for yourself.” My mom is quick to reassure her that it'll be fine and she can borrow one from a classmate. We both say our goodbyes as I start to usher Allison into the school hoping she can sense my internal panic at being this late. “Okay, okay we gotta go mom, love ya.” Before we even get to the steps I see an older man in a suit walk up to us. I quickly recognized him as the principal we had met the other day. “Sorry to keep you waiting.” he says to us as he signals for us to walk with him.
